Brunch is the only reason for waking up early on a Sunday morning.
If you are the type that can never wake up on time for breakfast, there are restaurants like Hatched and Wild Honey serving all day breakfast. I am always excited by the idea of having weekday brunch at Prive, or Jones the Grocer.
All Day Breakfast, All Day Brunch, Sunday Brunch, Breakfast Buffet, Weekday Brunch, Weekend Breakfast. Oops, but I just love typing that.
I love making lists. I’d think all day long about all the possible places, call every single one of them to double-check they are indeed serving brunch and jot down all the information. There’s no need to fret the next time anyone ask me for recommendations of the best brunch places in Singapore.
I hope this list of brunch places in Singapore will help on your hunt for the perfect breakfast. And just in case you are wondering, my all time favourite restaurants for brunch are Riders cafe, Barracks Cafe and Privé bakery café.

I will be adding this list to the top of my Delicious page page, if there’s any good places for brunch that I’ve missed out, feel free to let me know and I’ll add on to this list. Please call the restaurant to confirm a reservation before going down.
Your job is to check out all the brunch places and report back here every time you try a new restaurant for brunch. Are we clear on this? Good, get on with it.

HI Lady Iron Chef!
Love the pics you take and your reviews. I am trying to decide between Ritz, Four Seasons, Regents and Fullerton for champagne brunch for my birthday thats is in 2 weeks time. Which do you think has the best balance interms of ambience, quality and variety of food, value for money?
Thank you!
x
I just had Sunday brunch at Senso at Club Street today. It was superb – great, fresh food, impeccable service and wonderfully delicious free flow prosecco. Great value and ambience too. $88++
The pics made me hungry again… By the way just to share with all, Quincy hotel in Singapore was recently named the trendiest hotel in Asia by Tripadvisor.
I am tourist, and stay around Clark Quay
Please suggest good Egg Benedict to cerebrate my anniversary day.
Thanks
Bebe: Hello, you can try epicurious cafe or Boomarang bistro at Robertson Quay
Hello ladyironchef
Thanks so much for your prompt reply.
I almost go and shop in Singapore. But this coming trip I want my dear impress with good food and good dessert coz he love to be bake so much. Just 3 days in Singapore but I still planing for everyday meal 555
Hi Lady Iron Chef
Thank you so much for this marvellous post! Did you check out Gattopardo at Hotel Fort Canning? I think it’s awesome! Chef Lino (before from Domvs) lives up to his reputation by putting together this sunday brunch that serves your main course a la minute (think perfect al dente pasta & pizza hot off the woodstove oven) with live jazz music and even a wonderful kids’ corner for families!
Such a lovely list of breakfast and brunch. Appreciate your effort in making this list. Must have cost you quite some money and time to satisfy your thirst for eggs! Anyway just wondering what are the places still available for your legendary weekday “eat and enjoy while they work” theory? Because places you mentioned like jonas the grocer and epicurious seems to be unavailable during weekdays now(i read the latest comments it says so). Please advice!
Oh i found some more recent posts of eggs benedict available in weekdays. Hard to surf using an iphone. Thanks so much i am so gonna enjoy my breakfast on my birthday.
Try Kith @ Robertson Quay, just a minute away from eM! Also, 40hands @ Tiong Bahru. Great brunches!
I cant find a restaurant that serves buffet brunch that ends at 12noon on Saturdays. Many of them call it brunch but they start at 12noon. I need suggestions. I have an appointment for brunch tomorrow but still searching. Please help!!!
Ailin: brunch restaurants like epicurious and prive open for breakfast pretty early, you can try them?
Thank you for posting this!! I never expected dishes like this to exist in S’pore. About your pictures, do you think you could post details about them? Like what dish is in the picture and where you had it?
Adeline: I will include small captions below the photo when my schedule is not so tight. Any photo in particular you are looking at?
If not click on the links to the brunch restaurants that I have blogged about, and you can probably figure out where they are from : )
Haha. I was drooling over pictures 4, 7 and 11. But yeah, I think I’ll try doing that, i.e. clicking on the links. Thanks! I think I’m definitely gonna check out Strictly Pancakes.
Hi
Tried Jules Cafe? Just thought i’d like to give it a bit of publicity for the mean pancakes and coffee that they do! super chill out place
Tucked away along Tomlinson road, u will find Dan Ryan’s Chicago Grill. Near Regent hotel.
Branch is available from 11am till 5pm I think.
The portions are generous, food is absolutely tasty (something abt the seasoned potatoes) and it’s very Chicago. I like their service too!
Cant decide which one to visit first. Any suggestion ? Good food and ambiance that worth waking up early on sunday ?
VictoriaGo: try prive or riders cafe
I just have to say that Strictly Pancakes was an complete let-down for us. We went on a Sunday at about 11am (which was a decent time for brunch) only to realise that they most of what was available on the menu would only be available after noon. We had effectively only 2 choices, from memory.
Next, they stashed us upstairs (shophouse layout) and completely forgot about us until probably 15 minutes later. Lastly, I felt really old there, we were surrounded by customers mostly in their teens, and the girls next to us were even applying nail polish during the entire brunch experience.
I would pay more for a better ambience and service any day.
I am looking for a brunch place suitable for a family with 7 & 11 yr old kids, to celebrate birthday. Any recommendation?
KPO change their operating hours already, no longer open from 10.30am, they open from 3pm instead.
oh and over easy opens only at 5pm to 4pm for fri n sat..abit too early to be called brunch :p
Hi are the picture above or below the restaurant name? Thanks
L: For all my posts, the name of the restaurant is below each photo.
Hi,
May I ask why is Cafe Hacienda struck off the list? Actually thought of heading there over the weekend.
Kirsten: The owners of Cafe Hacienda has changed the concept to an American Diner, Roadhouse. Alternatively, if you want to try cafe hacienda’s brunch menu, Prive at keppel bay serves the same items (they are under the same owner).
Hi
Love all your restaurant reviews, but it would be helpful to annotate your photos so we know which restaurant is / serves which. At the moment, I am not sure coz it’s all over the place.
Thanks
goblet: Most of the photos are from the restaurants listed directly under it (unless otherwise specified).
hello! many thanks for your helpful reviews
any take(s) on the new marmalade pantry at the stables? i wonder if it’s any good… thanks in advance!
tricia: I haven been to the new marmalade pantry at the sables, will drop by soon : )
Glad this list is constantly updated! Anyway Oomphatico’s has been replaced with Brunetti. It’s worth a visit!
District 10 @UE Square. Hands down.
Oomphatico @ Tanglin Mall is no longer around. Replaced by Brunetti (which is under the same management i think).
Hi! What is your advice on the best Christmas Brunch in Singapore? Exclude Hyatt, Fullerton, St. Regent–Thanks!
Attempt Baker & Cook!
Casa Verde at Botanic Gardens. Great stuff!
Room coffee.bar @ ARC!
Hi Brad! Finally visited Prive Cafe last Sunday after your numerous thumbs up, but we were sorely let down. 3 minuscule bits of batter could hardly be called “Homestyle Pancakes”. Friends who ordered the Eggs Royale & Eggs Benedict both had overcooked eggs that were missing the runny yolks. I must say that unfortunately for us, standards certainly have dropped since your visit. We went slightly after 2pm when the lunch crowd had died down somewhat, so they definitely had no excuses for poor quality. I’d recommend the prive cafe ONLY for its ambiance. If you’re looking for quality food, visit their sister restaurant Roadhouse @ Dempsey – we visited a few weeks ago for another brunch adventure and everything we had there was cooked to perfection!! (:
Hallo! Love the list.
The Tanglin Tree at Tanglin Post Office has closed, hasn’t it?
Try espressolab at 13 Bali Ln. they serve all day breakfast like eggs benedict, big breakfast and sandwiches. weekends are open from 11am-6pm
Hi, I saw that Prive is under the Pancake List. Recently I went and it was a huge disappointment. It was dry and not fluffy. Thumbs down. Perhaps you can try out Cedele pancakes. They are so much better.
Your list is a bit on the pricey side. How about making a list of nice but on the not-so-ex restaurants? You should add Wimbly lu at Jalan Riang – cosy, not so pricey!
Hi
I went to Symmetry at Bugis area last Sunday for brunch. It is indeed a small place and they have just newly opened. Food is good and quick !
Both of duck eggs and croissant are good. I think we finished our food in 15 mins only.
Awesome list and great find, thanks for sharing this.
Really is a goldmine.
what about dean&deluca at orchard central and eggs&berries at changi city point? eggs benedict at both places are gooooodddddd. ^^
So all you do is list places for brunch? What type of useless blog is this? Not only have you proven that your taste buds have deteriorated with popularity of your blog. Or maybe the fact you dont actually write all of your blogs now but get other people to do it for you. This blog use to be good, now its just a empty shell of what it use to be.
