Singapore Dim Sum list
January 11, 2010 | 31 Comments
While we are at the topic of Best Dim Sum in Singapore, I thought it will be cool to have a list of dim sum restaurants in Singapore, so I dug out all the places that I have been to and called the other restaurants to compile this list.
I don’t really like to gorge myself silly on dim sum, so when it comes to ordering, I’d always prefer to go ala carte. But if you are in the mood for some dim sum buffet brunch; restaurants like Cherry Garden, Hai Tian Lo, Jade Fullerton, Jiang Nan Chun, Jing, Man Fu Yuan, and Yanting (ala carte) offer excellent dim sum buffets, albeit with a pricey bill. If you are craving for dim sum during dinner, Dim Joy will be a good place to check out.
My top three dim sum restaurants are: Yan Ting, Taste Paradise and Royal China.
Always give the restaurant a call to double confirm the pricing and make your reservation before you go. I have already done the hard part of calling all the restaurants for you, now there’s no excuse for not having your regular fix of dim sum!
Base on this list, you probably think that a) I went to a lot of restaurants for dim sum to be able to come out with a list of all the dim sum places in Singapore, and b) I love dim sum. Both are absolutely true.
Check out my list of the Best buffet in Singapore

Dracoholic: Wow dude, thanks for adding on to the list. Lao Beijing I’m not sure if it’s really dim sum, i know they serve snacks but not exactly the dim sum type if i am not wrong. Ah yes, i been to xin cuisine for dinner, forgot that they have dim sum too!
does szechuan court, victora peak, grand shanghai, noble house have dim sum? i think i called grand shanghai and they say no dim sum, need to double check again. thanks! : )

Telp: 62263683
and thanks for your greats a-z list..
April 25th, 2010 @ 11:09 am
I know a long time ago Grand Shanghai and Szechuan Court had dimsum. Perhaps for Grand Shanghai it was when it was called another name.
Victoria Peak and Noble House definitely have dimsum. If you get to Hong Kong, you shoud go to the Victoria Peak at CITIC Tower and Sun Hung Kai Centre.
April 25th, 2010 @ 8:43 pm
any idea the restaurant at mecure hotel, marine parade has buffet served?
April 26th, 2010 @ 9:22 am
Diane: thanks for the heads-up!
dracoholic: Okay! give me a while, i will call all of them to verify and add it to my list : )
kelvin: You mean Jia wei restaurant at Grand Mercure right? Nope they do not have dim sum buffet. The buffet restaurant is Feast @ East, which serves international buffet
May 22nd, 2010 @ 3:46 pm
hi , i was wandering how would u rate summer palace of the regent?
May 31st, 2010 @ 11:10 am
gotta love ur lists!
Kam Boat still my fav tho, cos it’s non-fancy but hearty traditional HK dimsum.
i also love the old-cantonese-resto type of setting – very comforting, cos it reminds me of my childhood, eating out with my family. hehe.
June 2nd, 2010 @ 10:33 am
luis: my apologies for the late reply, must have somehow missed your comment. I haven’t been to the summer palace, but my friend has been raving about it so i will probably check it out soon! do let me know if u have any recommendations from the restaurant
daphne: thanks dear! check out yanting and taste paradise too okay, both are the best dim sum places in singapore!
July 7th, 2010 @ 8:34 pm
Thanks for the list. Absolutely adore dim sum so I think I will be referring to your list over and over again
July 28th, 2010 @ 12:46 pm

July 29th, 2010 @ 12:33 am
hey, can i check if you had any experience with the Dim sum at Marina Mandarin. They seem have have a high tea buffet for a decent price, but not sure if it’s really nice?
July 31st, 2010 @ 12:48 pm
francis: No problem dude, glad the list is of help. I am trying to conquer this list too : )
jess: hahaha okie dokie, do they serve dim sum all day?
john: are you referring to peach blossom? nope haven been there before. yeah the pricing is decent for their buffet, but i am not really a big fan of dim sum buffet
August 1st, 2010 @ 12:15 am
hey thanks for the reply. Yes, it’s peach blossom/. Just wondering, I usually have my Dim Sum at imperial treasure. but my ala carte price there adds up to about the same as peach blossom buffet. So if it’s equally good, though i might as well go peach blossom. Looks pretty classy on the outside
August 6th, 2010 @ 12:46 am
John: I don’t really fancy dim sum buffet. But if you must have your buffet, i say go to Cherry Garden (48++) at Mandarin Oriental, or maybe the weekend dim sum brunch at Yanting (78++)
August 6th, 2010 @ 7:58 pm
hey, what about crystal jade golden palace at paragon??
August 7th, 2010 @ 3:21 am
Many thanks for the info
August 14th, 2010 @ 11:27 am
carene: i haven been there before! is it good?
john: no problem!
August 14th, 2010 @ 11:39 am
I love it! Their main menus are good too. But I judge a Dim sum place based on the staples of har gow and char siew puff and they totally take the cake (plus the toppings). Haaha.. Their har gow skin is thin with juicy fresh prawns and the char siew puff melts in ur mouth w v fragrant yummy char siew. I also like their ??? and roast pork! Hahaa.. My fave place.
August 19th, 2010 @ 11:56 pm
carene: now you really convinced me! i shall go there for dim sum one day! Soon I hope : )
