LadyIronChef, what about:
Old Hong Kong Kitchen at Square 2
Lao Beijing @ Plaza Sing, Tiong Bahru, and Velocity (I think they serve dimsum)
Spring Court @ Upper Cross Street
Mouth Restaurant @ Chinatown, Toa Payoh
Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant @ Concorde Hotel
Szechuan Court & Kitchen @ Fairmount
Victoria Peak Chinese Restaurant @ Orchard Central
The Dragon Restaurant @ Depot Road
Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant @ UE Square
Grand Shanghai @ Grand Copthorne Hotel
Golden Peony Restaurant @ Conrad Hotel
Yeap Seng Food Stall @ Red Hill Market, Tiong Bahru Market
Bao Luo Wan Xiang Street @ Lau Pa Sat
Noble House @ UIC
Old Hong Kong Tea House @ Katong Village
Teochew City Restaurant @ Centrepoint
Dracoholic: Wow dude, thanks for adding on to the list. Lao Beijing I’m not sure if it’s really dim sum, i know they serve snacks but not exactly the dim sum type if i am not wrong. Ah yes, i been to xin cuisine for dinner, forgot that they have dim sum too!
does szechuan court, victora peak, grand shanghai, noble house have dim sum? i think i called grand shanghai and they say no dim sum, need to double check again. thanks! : )
Hi, you should try
Tak Po
at 42-46 Smith Street, S058954.
Telp: 62263683
and thanks for your greats a-z list..
I know a long time ago Grand Shanghai and Szechuan Court had dimsum. Perhaps for Grand Shanghai it was when it was called another name.
Victoria Peak and Noble House definitely have dimsum. If you get to Hong Kong, you shoud go to the Victoria Peak at CITIC Tower and Sun Hung Kai Centre.
any idea the restaurant at mecure hotel, marine parade has buffet served?
Diane: thanks for the heads-up!
dracoholic: Okay! give me a while, i will call all of them to verify and add it to my list : )
kelvin: You mean Jia wei restaurant at Grand Mercure right? Nope they do not have dim sum buffet. The buffet restaurant is Feast @ East, which serves international buffet
hi , i was wandering how would u rate summer palace of the regent?
gotta love ur lists!
Kam Boat still my fav tho, cos it’s non-fancy but hearty traditional HK dimsum.
i also love the old-cantonese-resto type of setting – very comforting, cos it reminds me of my childhood, eating out with my family. hehe.
luis: my apologies for the late reply, must have somehow missed your comment. I haven’t been to the summer palace, but my friend has been raving about it so i will probably check it out soon! do let me know if u have any recommendations from the restaurant
daphne: thanks dear! check out yanting and taste paradise too okay, both are the best dim sum places in singapore!
Thanks for the list. Absolutely adore dim sum so I think I will be referring to your list over and over again
hey, u shd try Swee Choon Tim Sum Restaurant at Jln Besar! http://sweechoon.com/
hey, can i check if you had any experience with the Dim sum at Marina Mandarin. They seem have have a high tea buffet for a decent price, but not sure if it’s really nice?
francis: No problem dude, glad the list is of help. I am trying to conquer this list too : )
jess: hahaha okie dokie, do they serve dim sum all day?
john: are you referring to peach blossom? nope haven been there before. yeah the pricing is decent for their buffet, but i am not really a big fan of dim sum buffet
hey thanks for the reply. Yes, it’s peach blossom/. Just wondering, I usually have my Dim Sum at imperial treasure. but my ala carte price there adds up to about the same as peach blossom buffet. So if it’s equally good, though i might as well go peach blossom. Looks pretty classy on the outside
John: I don’t really fancy dim sum buffet. But if you must have your buffet, i say go to Cherry Garden (48++) at Mandarin Oriental, or maybe the weekend dim sum brunch at Yanting (78++)
hey, what about crystal jade golden palace at paragon??
Many thanks for the info
carene: i haven been there before! is it good?
john: no problem!
I love it! Their main menus are good too. But I judge a Dim sum place based on the staples of har gow and char siew puff and they totally take the cake (plus the toppings). Haaha.. Their har gow skin is thin with juicy fresh prawns and the char siew puff melts in ur mouth w v fragrant yummy char siew. I also like their ??? and roast pork! Hahaa.. My fave place.
carene: now you really convinced me! i shall go there for dim sum one day! Soon I hope : )
Hi, thanks for the list! This is great! I will try Yanting this weekend. Is it pricey?
You have to go try the dim sum at Victoria Peak @ Orchard Central, it’s on the 11th floor. They serve dim sun only in the mornings: 11:30pm to 2:30pm.
Hey! Thanks so much for the list! Looks so tempting! I trust your taste! What would you recommend for smthing say like dim sum lunch buffet max budget $30? The best you think!
Priscilla: If your budget is 30 bucks, maybe you can check out Pine Court at Meritus Mandarin, or for weekend high tea dim sum buffet, there’s Min Jiang at Goodwood Park hotel.
The best dim sum buffets are probably cherry garden, and Yanting, but they are much more expensive.
thanks! youre the best!
so sorry ironladychef! what about something around $50? thanks! sorry again!
Pris: If you have budget of $50/head, try cherry garden weekend dim sum brunch : )

Just a quick update on the dim sum listing.
As I’m planning to look for a dim sum buffet lunch today with my cols, i tried gng thru the list & call up to make booking. Then I noticed both Orient Ocean @ Miramar & River City @ Excelsior had close down.
hihi, would like to suggest another place which I went but not found on the list – Xin Cuisine at Holiday Inn Atrium. I find the dim sum quite good though a tad pricey.
You have been so helpful
could u recommend weekday dim sum for 10 pple @$30 each ? Thanks
Alice: You can try out taste paradise at Ion Orchard, it’s one of my favourite place for good dim sum in Singapore
Hi,
I think of going to taste paradise to have dim sum^^ may I know the time available for dim sum is it still the same as above stated on weekend ?
Thanks
Alicia: Give them a call to check the timing, and make a reservation too.
I think you missed out Xin Cuisine @ Holiday Inn Atrium.
Last time i visited singapore, i came across a dimsum place on a mrt station… The pork steamed dimsums were as good as what u get in shanghai… It almost only sold dimsums.I am visiting singapore again, but dont remember the mrt… Was it somerset? Can anybody help me with the mrt name. I want go there again.

priscilla: taste paradise only has ala carte, no dim sum buffet
