I just realised ladyironchef has reached a new milestone of 300th posts. While the mark may be little compared to some other bloggers, but personally i thought it was some kind of a feat, since i wasn’t even intending to do a food blog when i just started. And its never easy to maintain a food blog, besides eating all over Singapore, you need to snap photos of the shot (much to annoyance of my friends), edit them, and spend hours doing the write-up.
For those who missed the Obolo dessert outing, here’s another for you guys, LIC is having the next food outing event at Persimmon at Dec 6, Saturday lunch 11.30am! From the owners of Epicurious, Persimmon serves modern Singaporean cuisine, in a swanky kopitiam-style restaurant. Truly an East-meet-West inspiration. The usual 3 course set lunch menu is $28, but LIC had work out a multi course sampling size menu.
While co-owner and partner Mac excel in decorating the desserts, June enjoyed researching the use of new flavours instead. Perhaps it is the unique combination and strength in the partnership that gave Obolo Patisserie its success. ladyironchef decided to organise a dessert outing there and it went on smoothly with the support that the partners provided.
I know Facebook’s a big thing nowadays, but i didn’t really use it much only until recently. I’ve created a group for ladyironchef.com, so if you are on facebook, why not joined us there?
Make friends with like-minded people who are all into food, and it’s an additional channel for me to spread the words on any upcoming events on LIC. Do spread the words around, and let your friends know too!

Now back to business, ladyironchef is again, proud to tell you that my food outing event is here again! I know i’ve mentioned after my last outing at Tetsu that i’ll do another one during August, but it had been a few hectic months for me until now. So sorry for the delay!

October has been a long and difficult month for me, and this is the last crucial stage. After this, November beckons, and it’ll be a new beginning. I’ll like to apologise for the food outing events which i had mentioned, but did not materalised because of time constraint.
There will be LIC events coming up in November, food and dessert outings, details will be out soon, so do stay tune for it. Another thing which excites me will be learning to bake.
