Dean & Deluca New York Store Visit

Dean Deluca NYC

Back in March, the good people at Kitchen Language and Fulford PR invited me to join them on a press trip to visit Dean & Deluca in New York. During that few days, I had an amazing time learning about the brand, and it was a privilege to get a behind-the-scene sneak peek.

Dean & Deluca is a multi-channel retailer of gourmet and speciality foods, premium wines and high-end kitchenware with operations throughout the United States and abroad.

Like what I’ve mentioned in my earlier interview with Justin Seamonds (the president of Dean & Deluca), its international presence is expanding rapidly. Today, you can find the gourmet grocer in many cities including Tokyo, Bangkok, Korea, Turkey, and of course, Singapore (opening on 22nd June).

If you have always heard about but never had the chance to visit Dean & Deluca in New York, let me take you on a store visit!

Ladyironchef is looking for contributors

ladyironchef

This year has been really good so far, and I am very thankful that I get to visit so many new places. As I will be busy travelling to Sydney and Tokyo in June, I reckoned it’s a good idea to open up my blog for contributors.

If you think you have something that my readers should know about and has not been featured here, this is a good time to share.

Note that it is not restricted to just restaurant reviews. I am open to articles relating to food, wellness, and travel. It should be written in an engaging manner, and good photos are definitely a plus. One more thing, this is open to everyone; you don’t need to have a blog. I am looking for someone who loves food and writing.

Please send your post (around 300-500 words with photos) in a word document format to bradleyfk@gmail.com. It would be great if you could include a short paragraph – telling me more about yourself, and writing experience (if any) – in the email.

I will be choosing the best articles to share with everyone. This is your chance if you are keen to be a regular contributor for ladyironchef. Thanks folks, have a good weekend!

If you are still thinking of what to get, here’s a guide to Mother’s Day gift ideas.

Toshiba Ultrabook Filming in KL

Toshiba Filming

Last month, the folks at Toshiba & Intel flew Beatrice, Velda, and I to Kuala Lumpur on a fun filming trip for the Ultrabook Challenge, where we tested out the Toshiba Portégé Z830 Ultrabook.

It was a fantastic experience as the three of us learned so many things during the filming. We had a team of film crew, producers and make up stylist on set for the blockbuster production.
