PizzaExpress – Popular UK Pizza Chain Opens in Singapore

PizzaExpress

It is finally here – PizzaExpress is now open in Singapore, and it sits on the basement level of Scotts Square. The name should be no stranger to you as they have over 500 outlets in United Kingdom, various European countries, Hong Kong, India and the Middle East.

Founder Peter Boizot created this wildly successful pizzeria chain because having tried and tested the best and most authentic pizzas during his holidays in Italy, he was unsatisfied with what he had in London. PizzaExpress was thus conceived in United Kingdom, with the notion of offering authentic Italian pizza outside of Italy to the masses.

PizzaExpress Scotts Square

Having tried and loved PizzaExpress when we were in London, we are extremely stoked to have them here in our own country. We popped by for a preview and had a taste of their world-renowned pizzas – made from scratch in store with fresh ingredients. Besides pizzas, the menu is pretty much similar to that of U.K’s, with a whole range of salads, pastas and bite-size snacks.

Most of the dishes on PizzaExpress’ menu are priced under S$20 – they are extremely reasonable for the quality and huge portions. Here’s what you can expect from PizzaExpress’s first outlet in Singapore – which is officially opening its doors to the public this coming Friday (29 July 2016).

Seoul Jjimdak Singapore – 51% OFF Jjimdak and Budae Jjigae

Seoul Jjimbak

With so many Korean food places popping up all over Singapore, we can safely say that the Korean wave is not losing its popularity in this city anytime soon. Apart from the usual K-bbq and bibimbap, a rather underrated Korean dish called jjimdak deserves to be glorified too. The words ‘jjim’ refers to ‘braise’ and ‘dak’ refers to chicken, and a Korean jjimdak is really a tasty chicken stew braised in soya sauce and is usually slightly sweet.

Located in City Square Mall, Seoul Jjimdak is a Korean restaurant that specialises in authentic Jjimdak, and it is one of the very few destinations in Singapore where you get to savour this hearty Korean stew. The best part? Prices are wallet-friendly, portions are generous and needless to say – the food is legit and authentic!

From now till 31 August 2016, Seoul Jjimdak is extending an exclusive 51%* off Jjimdak and Budae Jjigae (Korean Army Stew) during lunch every day. All you have to do is flash this article or quote ‘ladyironchef’ to Seoul Jjimdak’s staff.

After the promotion, you can get the Jjimdak and/ or Budae Jjigae at only S$16.60++ (U.P. S$33.90++). Now, surely you know this is a deal not to be missed.
