Formerly located along Tras Link, Cake Spade has recently moved to a newer location – in fact, just approximately two hundred metres down the road.
The new venue is a lot more spacious and can accommodate many more customers, but getting a seat on a Monday night still remained a tricky challenge because nobody can get enough of Cake Spade’s cakes.
The owners of Cake Spade strive to provide maximum satisfaction with every bite of their creations and freshness is of utmost importance; no artificial preservatives have been used in any of the baked-from-scratch desserts.
From Strawbery Tofu Cheesecake, Peach Tofu Cheesecake, Red Velvet Cake to Hummingbird Cake, the cake selection at Cake Spade will make you go weak in the knees. Think of Cake Spade as someone to go to for an afternoon break for those who are working in the Tanjong Pagar area and also a great supper destination.
Hallmark creations include their signature strawberry tofu cheesecake (S$5.90 per slice) and Nutella fudge crumble (S$4.20 per slice) – we found ourselves hopelessly addicted to their crunchy biscuit base.
