Seng Kee Black Herbal Chicken Soup is located just opposite Kembangan MRT station. I happened to chance upon this zi-char restaurant because my friends had cravings for their mee-sua.
So another venture into the east side of Singapore for LIC, as i stay in the west and the east is so far away. But there are simple too much good food in the area, so you will be seeing more food from the east in the future!
Epicurious, located on the banks of Robertson Quay, has been in operations for close to 6 years now. The restaurant is the brainchild of the duo owners, Helena and Sharon. The concept for the restaurant is like a neighbour joint, serving casual food where you can chill out and enjoy a meal without any qualms.
Balmoral Bakery is a very old-school bakery which is evident from the box they use for their bakes. Located at Sunset way, the bakery offers the type of breads and pastries which we grow up together with, but sadly are slowly disappearing from our sight.
Under the “undue” influence of my secret food partner, we jogged from our place to Sunset way, and pay the bakery a visit. She introduced me to Balmoral Bakery as she has been munching on their breads since young.
Readership at ladyironchef (LIC) has been steadily increasing, thanks to all the share-readers i have out there, constantly coming here, clicking on the “refresh” button to see whether LIC has posted any new reviews.
However, the number of comments by you guys have not increase, and in fact are really very little. Which makes me wonder if there are really so many people reading this blog which strives to share my food experience with everybody.
Sometimes if you really don’t know what to comment, things like “well done”, “the food looks nice”, or even a smiley face will do a lot in encouraging LIC to write more reviews, knowing that my readers like them. Do make some comments!
Tetsu, opening its doors at Tanglin Mall on January 17, 2008, pride themselves in serving Kushi-Tempura and Kushi-Katsu. Their concept is based on a “LIVE” preparation in front of you by their chefs, who have intensive training in their Japanese Headquarters.
Dumplings always have a special role in my heart. Well for the sake of those not familiar with dumplings, it is a Chinese food eaten during the Chinese Duan Wu festival, i’ll stop short of saying the whole history story.

SMB: S2 is held at Cafe Domus, a very cool cafe which operates only when the sun goes down, and party till late night. Luckily for us, SMB main organizer Daryl managed to get the owner of the place to open the place for us.

A total of 20 people graced the event, with bloggers, readers of LIC’s blog, and their friends joining us for the green tea appreciation at Ochacha.
There was supposed to be more, about 15 more, but they all last minute had something on, anyway 20′s a big number, considering it’s LIC first time organising an event.
