Over the years, East Coast Road has established itself as a dining destination with its sheer number of food and beverage tenants. Two-week-old Nyam Nyam Chicken & Beer is the newest addition to the bustling stretch and we reckon it makes a perfect dinner spot.
East side dwellers rejoice – you no longer have to travel all the way to Tanjong Pagar to satisfy your Korean food cravings.
Located on level four of Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Nuer Koo is known for its premium beef noodles, with prices ranging from THB170 for the sirloin to a whopping THB950 for a bowl of Kobe beef noodles.
In Bangkok, a city that is famous for its delicious and cheap street food, you can easily get a bowl of beef noodles from any street stalls for THB30. So with Nuer Koo charging relatively more for beef noodles – is it worth your money?
Nouvelle Fusion Kitchen & Bar takes centre stage at SCAPE as an edgy fusion restaurant with signature tapas conveyor belt. It is uncommon to see anything other than sushi on conveyor belts, and Nouvelle Fusion Kitchen & Bar sure wins for novelty.
This very modern restaurant boasts a funky interior with colourful neon lights. The spacious cushioned booth seats make it very intimate and comfortable to hang out at, and ordering is made convenient with e-menus via iPad.
Here’s other tidbit – the fusion tapas conveyor belt items are all at a flat price of S$1.50 per plate.
Besides tapas, Nouvelle Fusion Kitchen & Bar also serves classy fusion mains with equally reasonable price tags. Think risotto, duck confit and so much more. Nouvelle Fusion Kitchen & Bar is surely a new restaurant in Singapore to love and check out in 2016.

Naughty Nuri’s - famous for its wicked pork ribs and cocktails – is opening its first restaurant in Singapore at Capitol Piazza in January 2016.
For so many years now, we have been hooked to their smokey ribs, and now, we need not travel to Bali for it.
alice + olivia is my muse. I am a huge fan of New York-based designer Stacey Bendet, for she is one inspiring woman who leads a fulfilling life with her family, yoga, and colourful fashion. It is one of those brands that would have me willingly splurge on, because what is to not love about her iconic monochromatic stripes and Stace Face, right?
And today, a piece of news got me really excited – alice + olivia is collaborating with local Japanese-inspired cafe Karafuru desserts! Damn those whimsical tea sets; I am so going gaga already!
From 09 Dec 2015 to 31 Jan 2016, Karafuru desserts will have its interiors decked in alice + olivia colours and styles, and you bet that is going to be nothing but fascinating.

Stepping into Ninethirty by awfullychocolate in East Coast Road is like visiting a long lost friend at his/her home. An immediate sense of comfort welcomes you, and your senses will be drawn to the aromatic smells wafting from the kitchen.
Ninethirty also doubles up as the flagship Awfully Chocolate store, and it is the only concept of its kind in Singapore.
It is a casual bistro that is suitable for a night out with a group of friends, or a date with your partner. It is nothing too fancy, just a simple and unpretentious space that serves a reasonably-priced menu of comforting Western food with Asian touches, chocolate cocktails as well as the most amazing chocolate desserts.
When we were planning for our trip to the Big Apple, we told ourselves that we would go on a hunt for New York City’s Best Ice Cream and Gelato. For some reason, we look out for ice cream at every city we travel to. It is like an instant mood-lifter, and it makes every trip complete. And we are starting to sound like kids.
But you see, we don’t love ice cream because it is good or right or healthy. We love it precisely because it is not. And with ice cream, there is no such thing as moderation or enough; we just go on and one, one cone after another.
Being at New York City means having access to so many great ice cream and gelato options – from the simplest to the craziest flavours, nothing is gonna stop the New Yorkers from enjoying their cones. And you can too, with our guide to New York City’s Best Ice Cream and Gelato.
