Good Luck Beerhouse – New Ang Moh Liang Teh Watering Hole At Haji Lane

Good Luck Beerhouse Sg

Haji Lane is home to an eclectic mix of bars, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Graffiti is strewn on the commercial shophouses – located on both ends of the quaint stretch of road – thereby making it a popular attraction amongst locals and tourists alike.

Alas, a speciality craft beer bar has opened in this hipster neighbourhood and it is called Good Luck Beerhouse. The 25-seater bar serves a variety of craft beers; some are locally brewed whilst the others are imported from the United States of America and New Zealand etc.

Open every day till midnight (except Sunday), Good Luck Beerhouse could just be your new hangout spot for Ang Moh Liang Teh!

Fynn’s Café Singapore – New Gorgeous Cafe At South Beach Avenue

Fynn's-Cafe

Fynn’s Café—conveniently located right outside Esplanade MRT Station Exit CC3—is a gorgeous new addition to South Beach Avenue. The beautiful modern all-day dining café reminded us of our good old days in Melbourne. It is worth mentioning staff members are attentive and friendly – a trait that Singapore’s hospitality industry greatly lacks.

We dropped by on a weekday afternoon and Fynn’s Café was packed with customers; expatriates and office dwellers make up the bulk of the crowd. No surprise there, since it is located just a stone’s throw away from the office building and JW Marriott Hotel.

The Coconut Club – S$12.80 Premium Gluten-free Nasi Lemak

Singapore The Coconut Club

Ann Siang Hill is a highly sought-after district amongst expatriates and we attribute its popularity to the enclave of bars and restaurants housed in colonial shop houses. The dining establishments in this neighbourhood are predominantly western, but a new tenant is shaking things up a little.

Lo and behold, The Coconut Club! Do not let its name fool you – this place is neither a Tiki-themed cocktail bar nor a nightclub. Instead, it is a speciality Nasi Lemak restaurant. The owners have spent two years sourcing for the best coconuts and refining their nasi lemak recipe before opening this eatery.
