[Closed] New York Label alice + olivia Collaborates with Karafuru Desserts

Karafuku Dessert

alice + olivia is my muse. I am a huge fan of New York-based designer Stacey Bendet, for she is one inspiring woman who leads a fulfilling life with her family, yoga, and colourful fashion. It is one of those brands that would have me willingly splurge on, because what is to not love about her iconic monochromatic stripes and Stace Face, right?

And today, a piece of news got me really excited – alice + olivia is collaborating with local Japanese-inspired cafe Karafuru desserts! Damn those whimsical tea sets; I am so going gaga already!

From 09 Dec 2015 to 31 Jan 2016, Karafuru desserts will have its interiors decked in alice + olivia colours and styles, and you bet that is going to be nothing but fascinating.

Bangkoku Cafe – An Off-The-Grid Cafe In Bangkok That Is Worth Checking Out

Bangkoku Cafe Storefront

While strolling down a less populated part of Bangkok, we stumbled upon a small and quirky cafe – Bangkoku Cafe, which immediately sparked our interest. Located just beside one of Bangkok’s most popular old-school barbers – Good Old Days Barber Shop – we were delighted by the cosy cafe’s reasonably priced drinks.

Sprawled on the walls are various menu items, from typical coffee to some very interesting alcoholic cocktails. Although this cafe has a limited food menu of a few cakes and sweet treats, the great drinks were enough to keep us happy.

With so many overly-publicised big cafes in Bangkok, it was nice to see a simple and humble cafe like Bangkoku Cafe.
