Lime Lobster Buffet

In celebration of Singapore’s 50th birthday, PARKROYAL on Pickering is presenting Singapore’s first-ever Lobsterfest Buffet at its star restaurant, Lime. Yes, you read that right. It is eat-all-you-can lobsters, and at a very sexy environment at that!

From 1st to 17th June 2015 and every Wednesday thereafter, the culinary team led by Executive Chef Vijay will be presenting a selection of Maine Lobster dishes influenced by Asian and Western flavours, reflecting the cosmopolitan Singapore of today. Expect your favourite crustacean cooked in 8 different ways, on top of its regular international buffet spread at PARKROYAL on Pickering.

Also, the buffet comes with free flow of servings of our very own local Tiger beer as well as local drinks such as ‘Cincau’ (Grass Jelly), ‘Ma Ti Shui’ (Water Chestnut), ‘Tau Huay Shui’ (Soya Milk) and Lemongrass Tea.

The Lobsterfest Buffet at PARKROYAL on Pickering will be an extraordinary and phenomenal meal that you won’t soon forget, we promise. Here, we present the highlights of Lime’s Lobsterfest Buffet that is available only for a very limited period. You know you need that dinner.

Grilled Lobsters

GRILLED MAINE LOBSTER WITH GARLIC AND THYME

Nothing too complicated, nothing too messy to musk the sweetness of fresh maine lobster. Just simple garlic and thyme used to grill the lobsters, and it is a taste that you will not get sick of.

Chilli Lobster

SINGAPORE STYLE CHILLI MAINE LOBSTER WITH DEEP-FRIED MANTOU

If we can have chilli crabs, we can have chilli lobsters too, yes? Hands up, Singaporean! Let’s all party with Singapore-style chilli maine lobsters! Chef Vijay’s rendition is sweet with a hint of spiciness, and of course, it is served with deep-fried mantou. Yeah, go on and help yourself to another serving. We won’t tell.

Kam Heong Lobster

KAM HEONG STYLE MAINE LOBSTER

Our favourite flavour of all, and the one that stole all our hearts. Many ingredients go into the cooking of this popular Malaysian-Cantonese style – garlic, ginger, shallots, chilli padi, curry powder, oyster sauce, dry shrimps and curry leaves.

What you get is an explosion of flavours that miraculously blend so well together, and we couldn’t stop reaching out for more. You definitely cannot miss out on this one.

Black Pepper Lobster

WOK-FRIED BLACK PEPPER MAINE LOBSTER WITH CURRY LEAVES

Lobster-feasting game going strong. We also have the black pepper maine lobster, an all-time favourite Singapore flavour. Wok-fried with curry leaves, this black pepper maine lobster is bound to be a hit, so be quick because the ones with fastest fingers win!

Lobster Paella

MAINE LOBSTER PAELLA

Paella has always been popular, and is an ubiquitous dish at world famous farmers markets. But only at Lime, you will enjoy paella with fresh maine lobster. The crustacean’s freshness elevates the flavour of the Spanish rice dish really well!

Lobster pasta

MAINE LOBSTER PASTA WITH SQUID INK TAGLIATELLE AND PARMAGIANO REGIANO

Italiano pasta done well, we’d say. Good ol’ squid ink pasta is made ever sweeter with fresh maine lobster, and just one portion definitely won’t do. Eat-all-you-can, right?

Gratinated Maine Lobster

GRATINATED MAINE LOBSTER WITH LEMON AND TARRAGON HOLLANDAISE

If you are a fan of anything cheesy and creamy, then this one is for you. The lobsters are covered in cheese, then put to bake till the cheese melts and seeps in to the flesh, and served piping hot with a homemade lemon and tarragon hollandaise sauce if you need an extra boost of flavour.

Lobster Laksa

CHEF NANCY’S NONYA LAKSA WITH MAINE LOBSTER

Just because eating laksa with ‘hum’ (cockles) is too mainstream, right? We now indulge in laksa with maine lobster. The broth is prepared nonya-style, and it is a bowl of familiar goodness with a touch of sophistication – half a maine lobster.

Parkroyal Pickering Lobster Buffet

FREE FLOW OF BEER AND LOCAL DRINKS SUCH AS GRASS JELLY, WATER CHESTNUT, SOYA MILK AND LEMONGRASS TEA

The regular international buffet line will still be made available on top of all the crustacean offers, and you can still look forward to your usual buffet suspects – cold seafood, sashimi and sushi, salad selections, ala minute pasta station, cheese board, nonya delicacies…

And with unlimited servings of Tiger beer as well as local drinks such as ‘Cincau’ (Grass Jelly), ‘Ma Ti Shui’ (Water Chestnut), ‘Tau Huay Shui’ (Soya Milk) and Lemongrass Tea, this is one buffet that will touch every Singaporean’s heart.

Lime’s Lobsterfest is priced at SGD 98++ per person during dinner and will run daily from 1st to 17th June 2015 and every Wednesday thereafter.
