Brasserie Les Saveurs at The St Regis Singapore is extremely popular for its champagne brunch. However, not many people know about the Italian weekend prosecco brunch ($98++/pax for prosecco, $68++/pax for non-alcohol) at LaBrezza, a charming and intimate restaurant which serves fine trattoria-style Italian cuisine by the poolside of the hotel.
Dempsey Hill is one of the dining destinations in Singapore. There are plenty of fabulous and romantic restaurants such as The White Rabbit, PS Cafe and House. However, most of the places are not exactly affordable and you will be hard-pressed to get a meal for under $20. Otherwise, go for the Roast Beef Sandwich ($12.50), Meatloaf (12.50), or the Huber’s Beef Burger ($15) – a very good burger with a solid beef patty topped with caramelised onions, melted cheese sandwiched between a softly-toasted and buttery bun.

There are many famous tonkatsu restaurants in Tokyo, but the place that everyone seems to agree is the best place to head to is Maisen Tonkatsu. They have many outlets in Tokyo, but go to the main shop in Aoyama – just a few blocks behind Omotesando Hills. The restaurant is located in a former World War II public bathhouse, which adds to the whole feel of dining there.

While it is relatively easy to find Korean restaurants in Singapore, it is difficult to find a truly outstanding place that will make you go back again and again to try everything else on the menu that you have not tried. Big Mama Korean Restaurant at Kim Tian Road is one of the few that belongs to this category. The food is generally good, and addictive enough to make you return on a regular basis.
