I am big fan of burgers. To me, nothing beats a good juicy burger. I have gone on a guest to find the best burgers in Singapore, and here are the results.
The DB Burger ($42) lived up to its name. A juicy and superb burger with seared foie gras in the middle. This was heaven on a plate. Definitely one of the best burgers around. But with its price tag, it is not something that we can eat on a regular basis.

De Burg has pretty good burgers and most of them are priced reasonably. Their tag-line is “Burgers are not fast food”, and we wholeheartedly agree. Come here for a no-frills and well-prepared burger.
119 Bukit Merah Lane 1
#01-40 Stall 1&2 Singapore
Nearest Station: Tiong Bahru
When I am having brunch at Epicurious Cafe – besides ordering the egg dishes – I also like to go for their Epicurious Burger ($18). And for the “full epicurious burger experience”, add cheese, bacon and egg ($4 for all 3 toppings).

Fatboy’s Burger Bar has many options on the menu, but what makes them special is that there is the option of building your own burger. Otherwise, just go for their signature Fatboy’s Bastard Burger.

Huber’s Butchery & Bistro has a very good burger ($15) with a solid beef patty topped with caramelised onions, melted cheese sandwiched between a softly-toasted and buttery bun.

There are many options on Roadhouse’s menu, but my favourite choice is the Bacon Marinated Burger ($23) – homemade bun, streaky bacons, caramelised onions, sauteed mushrooms, and 170g Josper-grilled wagyu patty. Utterly delicious.

With a price tag of $30, one would expect a lot from the Morton’s USDA Prime Burger. Does it really live up to expectations? We are happy to report that it is excellent. Juicy, tender, and flavourful, the prime burger from the bar at Morton’s Steakhouse sets a high benchmark for the other places in the market.

Omakase cheeseburger ($13.90) is made up of a delicious hand-ground beef patty with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato and sauce in a nicely toasted bun. The perfect burger? Almost. Omakase’s burger was indeed very good, but it was tiny and not exactly as satisfying. That said, I have had plenty of mediocre burgers with much higher price tags, so it is still probably one of the better burgers around.

The “To-die-for” Burger at OverEasy isn’t exactly to-die-for. But it is one of the few places (except 24 hours McDonald’s) that allows you to have your burger late at night, with a pint of beer no less.

Relish by Wild Rocket is an upmarket burger restaurant in Singapore. Most of the burgers are priced between $14 – 18, which I have to say is excellent value for the quality. The Wild Rocket Burger - a medium-rare beef patty sandwiched between two toasted bun, with arugula, sarawak pepper cream and sun-dried tomato relish – is comfort food at its best, and something that you can eat on a regular basis.
Other burgers on the menu include: Blue Cheese & William Pear Beef Burger ($18.50), Chicken Satay Burger ($14.60), Bacon & Cheese Beef Burger ($16.40), and a Soft Shell Chilli Crab Burger ($15.60), which was surprisingly good.

The Riders Burger ($17) is very good. Nothing too fanciful, just a solid burger with nicely seasoned fries. Definitely one of the best burgers that you can get for under @$20.

For a good and satisfying beef burger, head to Smok’Inn Frogz Kitchen. And the best part is you do not have to break the bank for it.
879 Bukit Timah Road
Bar Bar Black Sheep
Another burger that we like is the Suprette Burger ($24). It comes with a tasty beef patty topped with gruyere cheese in a nicely-toasted bun. There is the option of adding sides – such as bacon, mushroom, avocado, or foie gras – but the burger is so good on its own that you won’t need them.

&Made is a burger joint by the Delicia Group and Chef Bruno Menard, who previously helmed a 3-Michelin Star restaurant in Tokyo.
I have been to &Made several times, and while their burgers are made of good quality ingredients, they lack a certain ‘oomph’. In short, they are decent, but not life-changing.
That said, I still believe that &Made is worth a visit for two reasons. First, the location at Pacific Plaza is not only very convenient, but also relatively quiet – I can have a nice dinner without facing the crazy crowd in town. Second, the burgers, while not out-of-this-world good, are simple and comforting.

you might want to try vegetarian burger vegan burg?
my meat-eater friends gave a thumbs up for a vegetarian burger…
I tried The Better Burger @ Foundry (where Fatboy used to be) a few weeks back. Pretty decent… if you’re looking for large, juicy burgers.
I love burgers and I must say Swiss grill @ coronation has the best bacon and cheese burger/ codfish burgers ever!!!!
Been awhile since that trip of mine to Singapore and meeting up with you guys, but I sure do still remember that yummy burger from the Smok’Inn Frogz Kitchen.
I can’t say if it’s the best in S’pore since I haven’t tried them all, but it sure tastes like a real contender!
I just tried the Spruce Burger last week and can vouch for it being excellent! I think I would return to Spruce vs. Morton’s as 2 S$17-burgers properly-sized are more compelling than 1 better-tasting but over-sized S$35 (S$30 after 8pm) burger.
Is BBB at Cineleisure still alive? Its shutter has been shut for more than a month
Mouth Watering pics. Yummmmm!!!!
You missed out the PS Cafe Burger….I don’t fancy burgers until I had one of theirs…. they are miles better than those in Spruce… For sure!
totally love the wild rocket burger at relish
been wanting to eat at Steak republic.. but no chance yet :X
I miss having Fatboy’s burgers at the Foundry. The Better Burger (and the fries) just doesn’t stack up imo.
Burger bench and bar at cine is closed for good now. It served its last burger on the 31th of July.
tried BERGS not too long ago. It’s not bad, but try to seat outside if you don’t want to smell like a burger after.
I think burger shack serves the worst burgers ever. please go next door to the Swiss butchery and try the classic bacon and cheese. It taste like no burger u ever tasted in Singapore and they should be on your list too.
Swiss Butchery at Coronation Plaza has good burgers! The original is good.
The good burger chef at the Smok’inn Frogz kitchen in Bar Bar Black Sheep is now based at their boat quay outlet (55 boat quay), so something to take note off.
Yes, agree with Joanne. You missed PS Cafe burgers. And what kind of list is this? DB Bistro Moderne’s burgers are not included, and they are probably the most famous among all these. Don’t just list burgers you’ve tried (it sounds like you’re not enthusiastic about all of them) and have taken photographs of. List less and talk more about them.
You may want to consider trying Confused Cooks at Arab Street. I would say it is a hidden gem amidst all the Turkish cafes.
My friend and I enjoyed a huge burger, chili cheese fries and a pint of beer for only $22!
Wow, I can’t believe I have not tried out most of the places you recommended! But I agree with the other comments. You should also include DB Bistro Moderne at Marina Bay Sands. I was there the other day and tried The Bistro Moderne Burger (the sirloin burger fillet with foie gras). That made it to the top of my list!
i would say that db bistro classic cheese burger is so much better than their special with foei gras one….
and i think spruce’s burger is so much better than PS cafe. too bad hacienda cafe is closed for good alrd…..
Pique nique at takashimaya serves really good burgers!! Yummy and filling! Reasonable price, from 9 bucks on..
I like your usual posts Brad, but this list doesn’t feel quite right. Have you tried all of them, and ranked them as your top ten? Or is this just a listing of burgers that you’ve heard of?
@Sofia Yes I have tried everything on the list. I included some of the cheaper places as well so that everyone can try. But my favourite burger places are smoking frog kitchen, relish and morton’s.
Newish place on the East Coast, Big Bad Wolf on Tanjong Katong Rd. Great burgers..
Bergs at Capital Square merits a mention for sure. And their burger of the month, the Spicy Sanchez, is super yum..!!!
Ranch Cafe at Aljunied MRT is by no means gourmet, but at $7 with fries, no tax/no service charge and $5 Coronas, it’s ridiculous value. And irrespective of price, the burger bests BBWolf, and absolutely owns Tanjong Beach club, over easy, that place on rivervalley rd., and smokey’s… If they fried the onions, it would be an absolute must.
/burger snob
//excited to try other places on this list
Try Empire state. I love their original wheat wholemeal soft bread with thick patty. thumbs up! =))
Just wanted to share that I think I tasted the best burger ever last week. It’s called “Le Burger” at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon. This needs to be in this list! It’s a wagyu burger topped with foie gras and arugula leaves. Absolutely delicious!!
I’d like to add Roadhouse to the list. They serve a good variety of huge juicy burgers. Situated at Dempsey, where Hacienda used to be. It’s part of the Prive group & specializes in a josper grill. There’s a 5 patty burger called Terminator. Not for the faint hearted! I tried the portobello burger which comes with tofu. Good for vegetarians.
Have any suggestion for the one near Toa Payoh central or somewhere near?
The one with take out…
Beside McDonald and KFC… O.O
I always go to Fatboy’s!
Don’t like The Handburger! :/
Swills grill at coronation! Go try!
KRAZE BURGERS
Omakase at Turf City- gourmet burgers with juicy smashed beef
Jones the Grocer – best burger I’ve ever had. It’s the one with beetroot and blue cheese. (You need to have it rare and take some of the blue cheese out.)
you have got to add omakase burger at turf club to the list! they are newly opened, and their burgers are heavenly!
Wow e best is still Hummerstons . I cant believe it didnt make the list if Relish is up there.
Please refrain from eating Bergs burgers. Taste like shite and costs like caviar.Safe your life and not eat their burgers you may die after eating and seeing the bill!
ladyironchef… no offense but i think you need to brush up on your reviews…. seriously you know, almost every burger outlet review has your “one of the best burgers in singapore” declaration. So which then is the best one? Jeez
This is a really odd list. It’s called ‘Singapore’s Best Burgers’ yet you are writing “tiny and not exactly as satisfying”, “isn’t exactly to-die-for” and “was not impressed by the burgers that I had.” Perhaps just rename it ‘Burgers I have had in Singapore” instead.
Vegan burger is pretty good. Esp creamy shrooms
I think u missed out TWO BLUR GUYS in tanjong pagar! Definetely should included on the list! Is a small burger shop that is suprisingly the best… their beef burger is superb mouthwatering and oozing with juicy flavor. Much cheaper price than the shops in the list but will satify you everytime you visit.. my favorite burger shop so far in Singapore!
You can try Bergs Burger, Australian style burger, they have outlets in far east square, haji lane and one more place… cant remember.. Their burgers are healthy and yet wont lose the juicy taste of a burger.
The lost was great. But it was created since 2011. There are so many new restaurants open over past 3 years. It’s time to update this page.

@Li Li Hello we constantly update all our lists. If you have more recommendations, do feel free to let us know!
The beef burger at The Loft Cafe on Smith Street in Chinatown is excellent! It’s not too oily or fatty and the seasoning is just right. The portions are generous and their steak fries are really good too. I’ve had it 3 times and it keeps getting better.
The Hummerston’s Burger.. !
I’m surprised there is no mention of the Bacchanalia Burger. Tried it at the pasabella day out. Beat the omakase hands down
You are missing Singapore’s best burger, which is really in a league of it’s own and considerably better than any of the ones listed above.
Luke’s Oyster Bar & Chop House
