Fluff Stack_Original

Relatively new to Suntec City’s revamped food-filled basement, Fluff Stack wows with their generous portion of fluffy stacks at a more affordable price point! Their pancakes come in fun flavours such as Strawberry Cheese, Oolong Boba and Mango Passionfruit but we loved their Original flavour the best.

The stack of two pancakes was accompanied by honey butter, chantilly cream and maple syrup. We liked how the honey butter added some saltiness that was a good contrast against all the sweet.

habitat - Poofy

Previously located at the now-defunct Habitat by Honestbee, Riz Labo has opened a new, permanent shop at Picnic Food Park in Wisma.

They serve their signature Poofy Pancakes as well as a Matcha Rendition. While the Matcha version is aromatic with a nice tinge of earthy bitterness, the classic one tastes a lot better because of the rich egginess.

At the new outlet, there are eight pancake flavours including Hojicha Tiramisu, Premium Chocolate, Fresh Mango & Mont Blanc.

sweetrex souffle-pancakes-action-shot

As unassuming stall in Alexandra Village Food Centre, the fluffy stack from SweeT.Rex is one of the most affordable ones in Singapore. For an extra S$1 top up, you can get a scoop of ice cream with your pancakes. Choose between Strawberry, Chocolate and Caramel sauce to drizzle over your fluffy delights.

The soufflé pancakes were light and fluffy – not anything short of those you get at fancier establishments. They had a slightly eggy taste but the ice cream and the caramel sauce would balance it out.
