Everyone has their favourite special restaurant. A place where you go to celebrate a special occasion like birthday, anniversary or Valentine’s day. A place where you can bring a girl for the first date. A place where your partner and you go to have a great time. Or a place where girlfriends meet for girls’ night out.

Where to go for a romantic dinner? Here is our guide to Singapore’s 20 Most Romantic Restaurants.

Brasserie Les Saveurs

Brasserie Les Saveurs at The St. Regis Singapore is a beautiful restaurant. It exudes an air of elegance with the glittering crystal chandeliers and posh furnitures. In the day, the huge floor-to-ceiling glass panels allow light to shine in and flood the restaurant. When night falls, the setting is ideal for an intimate dinner.

The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore has unveiled an exciting new dining concept – Colony – that will excite all epicurean foodies alike. Introducing Colony with a gourmet buffet that is set to impress even the most discerning taste buds with its mouthwatering spread of Chinese, Indonesian, Indian, Malaysian, Western and local dishes.

We are completely in awe of the décor and ambience of Colony and would return in a heartbeat for a stellar meal. The gorgeous contemporary East meets West interiors have been designed by award-winning designer Tony Chi and we love how the vintage maps, photographs and postcards adorn the walls and partitions. The option of booth seats also affords a greater level of privacy.

What we love most about La Brasserie (pictured in the first photo of this post), other than its exquisite offerings, is that it is effortlessly chic and a gorgeous place to dine in. This restaurant at Fullerton Bay Hotel is a venue that works perfectly for all occasions – be it a business luncheon with work associates, a gathering with your pals, or a romantic date with your partner.

The Duck Confit is one of the best in town, and something that I will return for again and again. The Lemon Tart is also very good. If it is your first-time there, make sure to try these two items.

The White Rabbit Singapore

Housed in a beautifully restored old chapel, The White Rabbit is one of the most romantic restaurants in Singapore, and a place that I always recommend for a special date.

The White Rabbit used to be rather inconsistent in the past, but that is no longer the case with the return of Chef Benjamin Tan (the restaurant’s opening sous-chef) to helm the kitchen. The food is still pretty much classic European comfort food with familiar flavours, but the dishes are elevated to something special with the quality of ingredients.
