Kicking off this glorious feast, we had ourselves the Potato Mochi with Camembert Cheese (S$14++), Hummus with Cucumber and Crostini (S$14++) and a Parma Ham & Spinach Salad (S$18++).

A glass of Martini Rosso & tonic is the perfect match for something as heavily spiced as the hummus that consisted of warm spices like cumin and paprika. The complex herbal aroma of the Rosso further arouses the palate whereas the crisp and acidic tonic cuts through the dip nicely.

The salad comprised salty and fatty components such as parma ham, feta cheese and pine nuts which may prove a tad over the top for a salad if not for a glass of prosecco to bring it all back to the ground. The brightness and acidity help to offset some of the fat whilst still allowing the subtle sweetness from the parma ham to come through.

Special mention has to be made about the Burdock Sticks With Sour Cream (S$16++) which is not the most common vegetable around. A burdock is a root taken from the burdock plant and it tastes like a cross between an asparagus and an eggplant.

Deep-fried till crispy, it goes beautifully well with a glass of a Martini Royale, a cocktail designed in-house that contains Martini Bianco with a touch of lime juice.

CÉ LA VI

When it comes to cocktail bars in the city with breathtaking views, many would think of Cé La Vi. Think fine culinary creations, innovative cocktail concoctions as well as a stunning ambience.

And the crispy squid was deep-fried to perfection with a subtle hint of pepper. As the saying goes, you can never go wrong pairing Italian flavours with Italian wine.

Ravenous individuals in need of a good feed should definitely head down to Beach Road Kitchen, an all-day-dining restaurant by JW Marriott Singapore South Beach.

This dish is best enjoyed with a crisp cocktail like a Martini Bianco & tonic, which works well in getting rid of the intense fattiness.

If you love pies stuffed with copious amounts of cheese and wilted vegetables, then the Spanakopita (S$20++) is a dish you should definitely get. Encased in a crispy, delicate filo pastry are rich feta cheese and nicely wilted Greek spinach. THE BEACON

Freehouse is a craft beer joint you can escape to after a hard day’s work. Hidden on the second floor of a shophouse along Boon Tat Street, feel free to knock back a few pints and leave your troubles at the door.

This unsuspecting craft beer den houses up to 16 different craft beers and ciders on rotation, all affordably priced from S$9 for a 10oz pint. The selection changes constantly, so feel free to ask the bartender what the hottest beers are for the week.

In addition to their excellent range of tipples, they also serve up amazing grub; interesting bar bites like their signature Cereal Frog Legs With Ginger Flower Dressing to mouth watering mains like their Bombay Burger With Piccalilli.

Freehouse does not have a particularly striking sign board, just a small fluorescent one that might be a little tricky to spot. Once you find it, your journey to beer heaven begins at the foot of a dimly lit staircase.

This joint exudes a cosy and laid-back vibe. The quaint shophouse space is simply decorated with wood furniture, twinkling lights, graffiti stained walls, and craft beer posters but what really got us excited was the bar—a row of 16 shiny taps against pristine tiles.

We started off with some of their more interesting varieties; a 10oz glass of Heretic Chocolate Hazelnut Porter (S$12++ for 10oz) followed by another (of the same measure) of Zeffer Cider Cherry Bomb (S$11.50++ for 10oz)

Their food menu is not extensive, but they sure pack a punch and include possibly some of the most interesting renditions of classic bar bites we have ever seen.

We ordered the Bombay Burger With Piccalilli (S$15++) which comprised a massive boneless chicken thigh seasoned beautifully with Indian spices (cumin being a dominant flavour), sandwiched between two sturdy yet pillowy, perfectly charred buns. The chicken itself brimmed with so much flavour and was tender enough to chew off with relative ease.

If you love spicy food, then definitely go for the Thai Beef Sliders With Somtum (S$16++). Although small in size, the kitchen really goes above and beyond to stuff a smorgasbord of ingredients between two tiny buns.

The Thai flavours really came through with this. It was tangy, sweet with an intense heat that kicks you at the end. The beef patty was firm and juicy and the tangy som tum salad provided an added brightness to the dish.

Despite the spiciness leaving us gasping for ice water after, we must say that this was some of the best sliders we have ever had. Period.

Alchemist Beer Lab is an elegant bar that caught our attention because of their massive range of craft beer and fruit-infused beer that are made in-house. Think crazy concoctions such as the Obama (S$12/Happy Hour, S$15/regular)—stout infused with toasted marshmallows, vanilla pods and mint leaves.

Of all the fantastic and innovative Premium Infusion Taps, our favourites were the Passionista (Tap 10) and the 50 Shades of Pink (Tap 14). Both infusions were fruity and refreshing and would be a great fit for those who prefer light drinks.

Dig into bar bites after sampling the unique beers. The chef highly recommends the Ale Battered Sea Bass (S$15.90/set lunch) that features soft and flaky sea bass.

ATMASTEL

Led by Andrea Tarini, an Italian chef with a 3-Michelin-star background, Atmastel is a modern Italian casual restaurant with a purist vision of Italian food in Singapore. Walk into Atmastel and be greeted by a swanky open-concept kitchen, a pizza bakery, Crudo, drinks bar and a well-stocked retail section with more than 70 varieties of artisanal cold cuts, cheeses, wines and condiments.

Chef Tarini and his team have exquisitely crafted a menu that features only the very best of artisanal ingredients. Fresh San Marzano tomatoes, San Daniele ham and mozzarella are just some of the ingredients that are air-flown weekly from Italy.

Start off your meal with the Cold Cut Platter (S$45) which is recommended for sharing. Comprising of assorted artisanal cheese, manually sliced artisanal cured meats such as San Daniele DOP Proscuitto and the Shoulder Iberico ham, candied fruit, olives, pickles and toasted homemade bread, this spread was beyond impressive.

The Zuppa di Pesce (S$68), market-fresh fish and seafood stewed in a Mediterranean sauce with toasted garlic bread, will make for a hearty main. Finish off your splendid meal with a deconstructed Tiramisu (S$14.90) or the Portuguese Egg Tart (S$4.20) topped off with cinnamon powder. One tip is to order in advance for the Portuguese Egg tart as they are a hot favourite and are usually sold out very quickly!

CAFFÈ VERGNANO 1882

Experience true Italian espresso at Caffè Vergnano 1882, Italy’s oldest family-owned coffee roaster dedicated to serving a good cup of coffee and hot chocolate. Coffee is brewed using Arabica beans sourced from Central America, which will give subtle hints of citrus fruit and floral notes in your brew.

This cafe bar also boasts a beautiful interior, made perfect by the rays of sunlight streaming in seamlessly through its bay windows. If you are a coffee and chocolate enthusiast, a weekend spent at the gorgeous Caffè Vergnano 1882 will be like a vacation in a chocolate and coffee wonderland.

Besides that, you must try one of Caffè Vergnano 1882′s signature drinks. The Bicerin (S$6) is a crowd favourite as it consists of 75% rich chocolate with a shot of espresso. If you prefer something cold, the 1882 Affogato is a sweeter alternative, consisting of vanilla ice cream topped with espresso for that caffeine kick.

FASTA

Fasta takes pride in serving up delicious pasta quickly, hence the punny name ‘Fasta’. They have a decent range of pasta choices on the menu at inexpensive prices. We like that you can even pick your choice of pasta or grains and some add-ons for a little something extra.

We dug into the Scallop Wallop (S$16), a linguine pasta with pan-seared scallops, crab meat, diced tomato and bacon bits with a rich yuzu-infused broth.  The overall flavour was delicious and the pasta was pleasantly al dente. The Siow Ba Mee (S$13) is also one of their bestselling pasta, topped with the local-favourite pork belly.

FYNN’S

Fynn’s is the talk of the town now and is a popular and charming brunch spot with a botanical inspired interior that is so highly-Instagrammable. This modern Australian restaurant believes in serving up dishes with simplicity so as to draw out the true essence and flavour of the ingredients.

We went with our gut and got the Corn Fritters (S$22) with poached eggs, bacon, sautéed spinach, grilled tomato and jalepeño jama and we never looked back. The corn fritters paired with the other components is a match made in heaven.

For a lighter meal, opt for the Chia Seed Pudding, Pineapple, Granola, Gula Melaka (S$14). Be sure to pair your food with a Common Man Roasters Iced Latte (S$5.50) too.

Harry’s is a familiar face in Singapore’s drinking scene and many love the popular Harry’s Premium Lager, their very own brew. Though its South Beach Avenue outlet oozes elegance and style, it also has a laid-back vibe and there could be no better place to kick back and relax during the weekend.

LADY M® CONFECTIONS

We have yet to find someone who has not heard of Lady M® Confections since the brand opened its first outlet in Singapore a few years back. Their Mille Crêpe cakes are a favourite among Singaporeans.

Adding to their collection of cake boutiques in Singapore is the new Lady M® Confections outlet at South Beach Avenue, which will be opening very soon! Look forward to the Lady M® Earl Grey Mille Crêpes (S$9.50++/slice), a South Beach exclusive seasonal flavour which will be in stores for a limited period only.

The handmade crepe cake is layered with pastry cream that is infused with earl grey tea and garnished with earl grey tea leaves and blue corn leaves.

QUAICH BAR

Established in 2006, Quaich Bar is the first whisky bar in Singapore which houses more than 500 whiskies, of which 95% are sourced from boutique distilleries in Scotland. It is quintessentially a heaven on earth for all whisky lovers. Many of the whiskys are also exclusive to them only and cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

Instead of lazing the weekend away, you should gather your fellow whisky enthusiasts to further hone your appreciation and understanding of whisky at the Quaich Bar. Tutored tastings are available for a group of between 4 to 6 pax for the Flavours of Singapore Malt tasting set. Prices range from S$45 for 4 tasting portions.

We had a taste of a few exquisite single malts such as the Hazelburn Aged 12 Years, Bunnahabhain Aged 12 Years, Deanston Virgin Oak and Ledaig Aged 10 Years, each with its own unique flavour. There is also a cosy private room at Quaich Bar where you can book in advance.

Prices for whisky by the glass range from S$17 to S$416 and S$200 to S$32,000 for a bottle.

REAL FOOD

Real Food specialises in meatless food that is good for your body. All dishes served at Real Food are free from processed ingredients, artificial preservatives and trans-fat. Nonetheless, they are still just as delicious.

We tried the Soy Curry Soup Noodles (S$12.80) and it reminded us of home. Comforting, warm and extremely tasty, despite being made with oat milk and extra virgin organic coconut oil.

An interesting concoction is the Baked Stuffed Portobello Mushroom with Soy Cheese (S$11.80). The mushroom is stuffed with minced vegetables, covered with cheddar cheese. It is almost like a recreation of a vegetable dumpling with a juicy mushroom encasing it.

When you think of good tacos in Singapore, Vatos Urban Tacos will come to mind. For a weekend with the lads, Vatos Urban Tacos, which originates from Seoul, is a must-visit if you fancy some Korean-Mexican fusion bar grub to go along with your drinks.

The signature “URBAN” tacos served on homemade tortillas is a must-try. Set foot into the dimly-lit restaurant and you will be greeted by a gigantic Iron Man statue. The life-size figurine was imported directly from the United States of America; and we say, it is a dream come true for all fans. We couldn’t stop staring at it, and we chose a table right beside so it felt like we were dining with Tony Stark!

72o Bistro & The Toys’ glass cabinet showcases a wide selection of Marvel limited edition figurines, including Black Widow, Captain America, Hulk, Thor and more. The restaurant owner has been collecting these figurines since 2000 and he decided to open a themed bistro to share his prized possessions with like-minded fans.

The collection is really expensive, and it is fascinating, to say the least.

There are a bunch of starters on 72o Bistro & The Toys’ menu. We suggest you get the Spicy Buffalo Wings (S$8.90 nett / five pieces) for sharing.

Each succulent chicken wing is marinated, deep-fried and tossed in spicy buffalo sauce. Carrot and cucumber sticks are served on the side with a blue cheese dip.

For something more substantial, share the 2 Amigos Pizza (S$13.90 nett) baked with bacon bits, bratwurst sausage, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.

It is worth mentioning that every item is served in an incredibly generous portion!

The Dancing Prawn Aglio Olio (S$14.80 nett) might look unassuming, but do not let its simplicity fool you. It is hands down our favourite Western dish from 72o Bistro & The Toys.

Al dente spaghetti is served with fresh and plump sautéed prawns, chilli flakes, garlic, onion, olive oil and pepper. Flavourful in every bite, and certainly very filling!

The 72o House Burger (S$15.80 nett) is a value-for-money main course that will fill you up easily. Melted cheese, chargrilled beef patty, smoked bacon bits, mushroom, romaine lettuce, cherry tomato, mayonnaise and a sunny side egg are served atop two palm-size sesame buns with a garden salad and a tin of fries on the side.

72o Bistro & The Toys’ signature dish is the chef-recommended Grass-fed Rib-eye Steak (S$24 nett). The rib-eye steak is grilled to the doneness of your choice and served with asparagus, mushrooms, potato wedges, salad and drenched in an aromatic brown sauce.

For something different, consider the 72o Curry Chicken Burger (S$12.80 nett), which resembles more of a sandwich. Fork-tender marinated chicken, Indian curry gravy, pineapple rings, romaine lettuce and onion slices are stuffed inside a ciabatta bread.

We have to admit that the North Indian delicacies served at 72o Bistro & The Toys seriously surpassed our expectations. Frankly speaking, there seems to be little or no link between North Indian cuisine and a bistro decked out in Marvel decors. But boy, we were impressed to no end.

The fragrant Butter Chicken (S$12.80 nett) is a must-order. In fact, we would gladly make a return special trip just for their Butter Chicken! Think tender boneless chicken cooked with a thick, buttered masala gravy. Needless to say, this Indian classic was the star of the meal—everyone was digging into the viscous tomato-based mixture.

While the Butter Chicken tastes good on its own, the Cheese and Garlic Naan (S$4.80 nett) and Chicken Briyani (S$11.80 nett) make great accompaniments.

The former is a delicious Indian bread baked in clay oven, whereas the latter is a traditional Indian dish comprising curried chicken and spiced rice. Can’t decide what to have? Order all. No such thing as too much good food.

By now, you are probably overwhelmed by the seemingly endless options available.

Want more sharing dishes? Then give the Chicken Suslick (S$9.80 nett / two sticks, S$17.80 nett / four sticks) a shot. These skewers consist of marinated chicken chunks, grilled capsicums and onions.

For the most bang for your buck, visit 72o Bistro & The Toys during lunchtime and dig into these scrumptious dishes at unbelievable prices—we are talking about S$8.80 nett for a set!

Feverishly sprouting up around the island are cocktails bars dotting the nightlife scene. But what’s hot and what’s not? Thanks to 28 Hong Kong Street (who have done Singapore proud) by bagging the #10 position in World’s 50 Best Bars 2013, new entry bars now have a new benchmark.

Here’s our pick of five hot new bars in Singapore that up the ante.

Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall

A cozy alcove hidden atop level two of an old shophouse, one might easily mistake the storefront board as a real cold drinks stall—the kind you find at a hawker. Traipse up to the bar on level two and you will be greeted by ‘Ah Sam’ himself. Formerly of Jigger & Pony, owner-bartender Samuel Wong helms the bar with a menu driven by classics such as Old Fashioned, Sidecar, and Old Pal (all S$20).

While we enjoy the classic ode cocktail, Wong’s creative concoctions like Milo Whiskey (Redemption Rye Whiskey infused with old school Milo nuggets; S$22) will bring back nostalgic memories while Beaded Slippers (S$22) of El Rob Prohibido rum, fragrant pandan, coconut cream and a reduction of gula melaka will push boundaries to win over one’s heart.

House of Dandy

Resurrecting the roaring twenties with spot-on art deco and killer drinks, House of Dandy exudes a Gatsby-esque feel that envelopes you the minute you waltz through the navy blue French doors emblazed with cubic designs in matt gold. Fashioned after “old gentlemen’s clubs at the turn of the century”, this 60-seater bar embodies an 1800s concept of aristocratic hedonism—temple to dandies and dandizettes.

Award-winning mixologist (and founder of Bartistry) Zac Mirza has over 20 years of experience under his belt, and it’s evident in his drinks. A cocktail that boasts his expertise, the Dandy Threesome (S$22) is a smooth blend of three main ingredients (hence its name): Artenum blanco tequila, Cointreau and kaffir lime topped with caramelized ginger and a touch of egg white for a creamier; full-bodied flavor. For those who love the classics, Mizar sure makes a mean Whiskey Sour (S$18).

Jekyll & Hyde

Named after the novella Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Jekyll & Hyde showcases an apt ‘split-personality’ with second outlet of nail parlor Manicurious (in a private corner of the front half of the space) and a 30-seater mixology bar headed by Jeff Ho, formerly of Bar Stories. A honcho at bespoke tipples, Ho leaves ups the ante with concoctions like Strawberry Manhattan (S$25) with a base of Rittenhouse straight rye whiskey for that dry and earthy mouthfeel, mixed into strawberry crème de fraise, angostura bitters and a zest of orange for a bittersweet aftertaste, with hints of strawberries.

If you fancy something a little stronger, we reckon the Tequila Old Fashioned (S$25) should do the trick. Reposado tequila, chocolate bitters, angostura bitters and a pinch of orange zest makes for the perfect post-work tipple. Allow the ice to melt for more complex flavors to blossom from this smooth and oaky tequila concoction. Bespoke cocktails are also available on request and start from S$18.

The Beast

Bourbon aficionados will rejoice at the establishment of Singapore’s first and only bourbon bar, The Beast, replete with over 30 kinds of bourbon whiskey. In addition to bourbon tapped from imported oak barrels and homemade liqueurs like their own version of Southern Comfort used in the house cocktails, this three-storey bar also boasts a barrel-aging program where classic cocktails such as the Manhatten and Negroni are barrel-aged for four to six weeks.

And if that is not reason enough to hole one up in this industrialized barn of a den, rare pre-prohibition labels also line the shelves—think Very Special Old Fitzgerald 12 Years (S$14), Old Grand-dad Bourbon (S$13) and our personal favorite, Willet Single Barrel (S$15) with a complex layering of wheat and rye with finishing notes of malted caramel. If straight up isn’t your style, opt for house cocktails like Mama June’s Sweet Tea (S$18)—a sweet and metallic cocktail of Luxardo Albicocca apricot brandy, fine sugar, mint leaves and the house-made Southern Comfort.

The Powder Room

Drawing one into the opulent world of Gatsby’s New York is The Powder Room, brought to you by Lo & Behold Group—the same crew who gave us party spots Loof and Tanjong Beach Club amongst others. Shimmy up to the mezzanine level of The Black Swan where the intimate 70-seater bar extends and be dazzled by the array of alcohol labels available. House signature cocktails (from $19) seem to be the drink of choice, with popular favorites like the Cecil Sour (S$19)—an original house blend whiskey of Monkey Shoulder blended three times with Glenfiddich 15 Years, Balvenie and Belvenie shaken with vanilla bean and egg white; a touch of angostura bitters, maple and mandarin zest, served with a piece of sea salt chocolate. Just thinking of it is making us drool.

Opened till 1am on weekdays makes this a perfect spot for post-work libations. Going in hand with the drinks are alcohol-induced munchies from the crostini and charcuterie menu (from $S14) like baked bone marrow with chili and kombu (S$18), or order up some freshly shucked oysters (from S$36 per half dozen) from the oyster bar.

With a tongue-in-cheek name like Rabbit Carrot Gun, it is hard not to do a double take when we passed this watering hole along East Coast Road. Like its name suggests, Rabbit Carrot Gun does not take things too seriously. The menu is full of quirky dishes that fortunately turned out fairly well.

The casserole of Mushrooms ($14.90), described on the menu as crème fraiche on toasted brioche, poached egg & balsamic is a delicious, creamy concoction of fragrant, earthy mushrooms slowly simmered in a delicate cream sauce. The golden yolk stirred into the dish gave this a luxurious touch.

If we can overlook the amount of oil that went into making the warm caramelized onion tartlet ($13), we would have appreciated this dish a lot more. The candy-sweet onions came in a generous portion atop a flaky tart, and then topped with a dollop of strikingly pink of beetroot pesto that enlivened the dish.

We could not resist the sound of a Rhubarb and Ginger Crumble ($11.50), but it was unfortunate that this temptation resulted in the meal ending on a sour note, literally. We cringed on the first bite, and did not like that it left an odd aftertaste. The slipshod preparation of this dish was a far cry from their savoury dishes. The ice cream which came specked with vanilla beans, appeared promising, but reeked of mediocrity.

We love the chill-out vibe and the enthusiastic service of this little gem of a café. A downside of this place is the lack of air-conditioning, which can be frustrating for the heat-intolerant. But the expatriates living in the area seem to be enjoying this new addition, for they throng the place in bermudas in the evenings and on weekends for brunch.

And you’re probably as curious as we were about the name. Apparently the idea comes from the game scissors-paper-stone. So next time instead of playing scissors-paper-stone, why not try rabbit-carrot-gun instead?

Ku De Ta

The classy rooftop venue is the definitely the latest place to see and be seen. When you have such a stunning view of the city’s skyline at the top of Marina Bay Sands, with the help a glass of champagne, anything can happen. Ku De Ta is the best place to have a cocktail, chill out with your friends and feast your eyes on good-looking people.

KPO Cafe & Bar

Housed in the former Killiney Post Office, KPO (named for its location at the junctions of Killiney, Penang and Orchard Road) is a two-storey cafe and bar that is known for its ‘happening’ crowd, and the flashy cars parked in front.

Definitely one of the most popular watering holes in Singapore for sipping a martini and people-watch.

Whenever readers ask me to recommend romantic dining places in Singapore, I will always think of the restaurants at Dempsey road. Among the options there, The White Rabbit ranks highly on my list of romantic restaurants in Singapore.

The White Rabbit, owned by the folks behind Loof and OverEasy, is a romantic restaurant housed within a beautiful restored Chapel in Dempsey Road.

I fell in love as soon as I stepped into the place.

Fine dining restaurants are usually not very versatile. I mean they are nice for a romantic dinner, but some of them can be quite intimidating. The White Rabbit, on the other hand, is great for just about any occasion. Be it a romantic date with your partner, a chic business lunch with your clients or a casual dinner with a group of friends.

I wanted to dine at The White Rabbit for the longest time, and I finally came here last week for their 3 course set lunch ($38++ per pax).

Amongst the five starters that were available on The White Rabbit’s menu, we opted for the Caponata and White peach salad. Drizzled with Italian herbs and olive oil, the crispy tiger prawns were accompanied by eggplant, celery and Roma tomatoes.

For our second appetiser, we chose the White Peach Salad over the Grilled Vegetables, Smoked Salmon and Mushroom Soup.

The White Rabbit’s set lunch menu has 5 different choices to satisfy everyone: Pan Seared Salmon Fillet, Pan Roasted Sea Bass, Braised Oxtail, Galantine of Duck, Roasted Lamb Rump and pasta. We eventually settled for the salmon and duck.

Served with Petit Pois Puree (green peas) and carrots, the Salmon was pan seared nicely and we thought that it was pretty well done. But with no substantial sides, the portion might be too small for folks with big appetite.

The Galantine of duck however, came with simple yet tasty potatoes. The herbed minced beef stuffing within the de-boned duck was subtle, and the dish somehow tasted like roasted duck.

Out of the three desserts on The White Rabbit’s lunch menu, we had the Tiramisu and Valrhona Chocolate Tart (with the other option being profiteroles). It is difficult to judge a tiramisu since everyone has different interpretations on what makes a good tiramisu. If you like it with a strong alcohol taste, you will love the one here.

The White Rabbit’s tiramisu had an extremely strong liqueur flavour at the base, which left a bitter after-taste lingering in the mouth for a long time. We did not really enjoy it, and thankfully there was the Valrhona Chocolate Tart to distract us.

Paired with a slightly sourish strawberry ice cream, the chocolate-y Valrhona Chocolate Tart was small in size but huge on flavours. It contrasted hot with cold and sweet with sour perfectly.

The romantic restaurant has a uber-chic watering hole in the al fresco area. The Rabbit Hole is an outdoor bar which is a lovely place for some drinks and finger food. It is definitely a good option for events and parties, but don’t expect it to be cheap.

Hold my hands and follow me down the rabbit hole…

The 3 course set lunch at the White Rabbit is $38++ and they also have a 4 course degustation menu at $98++ per person. For their ala carte menu, appetisers like the tuna carpaccio and steak tartare start from $20. Most of the main courses are in the $30ish range and desserts like the creme brulee and souffle are $16 each.

The White Rabbit restaurant has received mixed reviews so far: there are people who love the Alice in Wonderland theme restaurant, and there are also others who feel that the food is inconsistent and not worth the money.

Whilst the food at The White Rabbit may not be the most spectacular, sometimes food becomes secondary when you are eating at such a beautiful place.
