5 of the Best Patisseries in Tokyo

Henri Charpentier

It is no secret that we love our sweets. Tokyo is known for having amazing desserts, so you can imagine what a heaven that is for us. We’ve taken a few trips to the capital city of Japan, and each one had us falling in love with their exquisite selections.

It was so much fun going around all day, indulging in the prettiest cakes and finest sweets. And because the Japanese really take pride in what they serve on the table, there is no lack of patisseries to head to whenever we need some sugar rush. Here, we share 5 of the best Patisseries in Tokyo.

DB Bistro Moderne Singapore

DB Burger

Daniel Boulud’s name is synonymous with fine dining in New York, and his signature Manhattan restaurant DB Bistro Moderne at Marina Bay Sands needs no introduction.

While the general taste is not fantastically out of the world, the food is always consistently good. These days, sadly, even the better restaurants have neglected this point. There is nothing more disappointing than to return to a restaurant only to find that your favourite dish is not as good as before. Postcards from Amsterdam

Amsterdam

From taking a stroll by the beautiful canals, to eating fries with awesome Joppiesaus, and visiting the museums – there are so many things to do in Amsterdam. Here are some of the photos that I have taken during this trip.

HKK London

Good Chinese food and restaurants are aplenty in London, but I have always found a general lack of variety in the food they serve. Whilst the food are tasty, finding the same few items on the menu in most restaurants can leave one relatively bored of Chinese cuisine after a while. So, you ask, where can one satisfy a Chinese cuisine craving and be pleasantly surprised by the meal at the same time? Well, if you are willing to splurge a little, I’d definitely recommend HKK London.

3 Reasons to Visit Rome

Rome

Last October, my partner and I had the pleasure of visiting Rome for the very first time. We spent a few days in the Eternal City and while it was a relatively short stay, we managed to explore and eat our way around the city pretty well.

Pantheon

I have always been fascinated with the Roman history. Having read and heard so many things about Rome, it was my dream to visit the city. Like they say: All roads lead to Rome. I am very glad that I finally had the chance to see the city for myself.

If you are planning a trip to Europe, Rome should be at the top of your to-go list. It is worth visiting for a few reasons.
