Japanese Kit Kat

The world is crazy about KitKat – not the regular ones in red wrapper that we can get from any parts of the world, but the flavoured ones that are only available in Japan.

These special edition KitKats are spread out all over Japan, and every city has its own flavours. In a rainbow of colours they are, often in very seasonal flavours that is unique to the respective Japanese cities.

We have become collectors in our own rights, and this is our conquer by far. Every time we travel to Japan, and chance upon of these special edition KitKats, we are sure to grab them. From purple sweet potato (Kyushu’s flavour) and red bean (Hokkaido’s flavour) to Rum & Raisin (Tokyo’s flavour) and Wasabi (Shizuoka’s flavour), we love them all.

And we made a great discovery recently. They are actually available somewhere outside of Japan – 15 Japanese-flavoured Kitkats in ONE place. Guess where?
