I have been putting off the review of California Pizza Kitchen at Forum the Shopping Mall for a while now. The pizzas are fine, really. But I don’t have any inspiration to blog about it as the photographs are quite unappetizing.

Tuesday is usually the hardest day of the week. Even though everyone always grumbles about Mondays blues, I’d think that Monday isn’t as bad as Tuesday since we are fully recharged during the weekends. But Tuesday, they are neither here nor there. It isn’t midweek yet, nor is it just-one-more-day-to-Friday, and obviously it isn’t TGIF.
Anyway, my point is: Tuesday sucks. So stop asking if everything is okay, because it is not. But my dear, I want to give you some hope. I want you to see the light at the end of the tunnel week. I’m going to try and make your day better by blogging about the High Tea Buffet at Barracks Cafe House Dempsey Road.

Holland Village XO Fish Head Bee Hoon is one of the Zi Char Stalls in Singapore that my family frequently visits. But it has since relocated to the Jumbo Coffee Shop at Dover Crescent, so we decided to go to Ming Kitchen Seafood Restaurant at Holland Drive instead.

Three years ago, I somehow chanced upon the stretch of restaurants at Greenwood Avenue.
In the dimly-lit restaurant, and in the company of a group of good friends; that dinner easily became one of the best meals in my life. Needless to say, the fish and chips I had at Greenwood Fish Market that night, was one of the best that I had in Singapore.

It’s a pity that Korean food in the Singapore food scene isn’t as strong as its Japanese counterpart. Most people tend to crave for sushi rather than kimchi. I’m sure you can easily rattle off a list of good Japanese restaurants, but it’s not the same story when it comes to Korean Restaurants in Singapore.
My friends were craving for Korean food, and after hearing so much about Togi Korean Restaurant at Mosque Street, we decided to check it out on a weekday night.

Most Singaporeans will have probably heard of Tung Lok group of restaurants, which serve a range of food from vegetarian to seafood. From upmarket Chinese restaurant My Humble House, to the family-friendly Tung Lok Seafood restaurant, Lingzhi Vegetarian restaurant, or the causal dining Zhou’s Kitchen – there are options available for everyone.

Before I go into my raves for desserts, I want you to know that Marmalade Pantry at Ion Orchard serves pretty good desserts. Hint hint, just the perfect place to indulge for afternoon tea in Singapore – if you still don’t get what I mean.
Desserts are pleasure guaranteed, with no further explanations needed or what so ever. We can have desserts for breakfast, like pancakes with ice cream & maple syrup, If not desserts for lunch, dinner or supper, or all three combined. But you know what I really like? I think desserts, are meant for afternoon high tea.
