This humble little eatery popped up in Fortune Centre pretty recently and we’re so glad they did. Yat Ka Yan Dessert serves up comforting family recipes that taste straight out of your grandma’s kitchen.

Their range of Chinese desserts sees anything from black sesame paste to steamed egg pudding. But, take it from us and get their Chendol (S$3.20). You’ll be swept off your feet by the shaven ice drenched in thick coconut milk, rich gula melaka syrup and sweetened whole red beans.
