Dominique Ansel Bakery has opened in London! Londoners are sure in for a treat.
Dominique Ansel is a revered French-born pastry chef who has wowed the world with his extraordinarily unique dessert creations. For those not in the know, Dominique Ansel is the creator of the life-changing cronuts and cookie milk shots. While other patisseries are scurrying to replicate his inventions, Dominique is already on his way to create something entirely new.
The world-famous bakery has three outlets in New York City, Tokyo and now London. After much anticipation, the award-winning brand alas opens a 25-seater bakery in the capital of England. Snaking queues are already forming in the quaint Belgravia district; Londoners are evidently overjoyed with the city’s newest food-and-beverage addition.
Dominique Ansel is such a global smash hit and we are predicting throngs of eager fans queuing outside the gorgeous bakery for the subsequent months.
Similar to its stores in the Big Apple and Land of the Rising Sun, the outpost in London will too be launching an exclusive Cronut flavour monthly. The very first flavour is Salted Butterscotch and Cocoa Nib flavoured.

Needless to say, Dominique Ansel’s signature creations such as Frozen S’more and Cookie Shots will be available too. But that’s not all. Dominique Ansel values local British flavours and sees the important of integrating them into his desserts.
The Dosa Mille Feuille (£7.50)—an London exclusive dessert—is a delicate puff pastry “dosa” shell with hazelnut coffee, whipped Chantilly, lemon curd and candied lemon peel.
But to be honest, we thought that it was nothing special; you are better off sticking with the Cookie Milk Shots and Frozen S’mores.
