Sitting in the quaint neighbourhood of Kensington, The Muffin Man is as British as it can get. Don’t expect lavish decor and expensive furniture; The Muffin Man is nothing like that. Instead, the furniture are visibly aged – round glass tables that are lined with old linen, wooden chairs, faded shelves.
But this charm is irreplaceable.
Come here for tea and get the legendary scones, and you will be rewarded with crumbly, perfectly baked goodness. The Devon Cream Tea set (£6.50) is what everyone orders; it comes with a pot of tea of your choice, two toasted scones that is served warm no less, English strawberry jam and Devon cream.
