This Dragon Boat Festival, have a taste of Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant’s delicious rice dumplings made from premium ingredients. Helmed by Wan Hao’s Dim Sum head chef, Loh Kah Poh, the culinary maestros at Wan Hao handmakes each and every rice dumpling to ensure that all the rice dumplings are of high standard.

The highlights at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel this year include the Black Truffle with Pork Belly & Dried Scallops Rice Dumpling, Spicy Sambal Rice Dumpling, Wan Hao’s Signature Pork & Salted Egg Dumpling and Vegetarian 5-Grain Rice Dumpling.

Opt for the classics if you’re a fan of Cantonese-style dumplings with Wan Hao’s Signature Pork & Salted Egg Rice Dumpling (S$12). Nothing can go wrong with the restaurant’s all-time favourite rice dumpling that includes pork belly marinated with a secret blend of spices and sauces, salted egg yolk, mushrooms, black beans and chestnut.

Black Truffle with Pork Belly Dumpling

This year’s new face is the Black Truffle with Pork Belly & Dried Scallops Rice Dumpling (S$18), a gem packed tightly with luxurious ingredients. Quality glutinous rice houses tender braised pork belly and deluxe Japanese scallops, every bite is a burst of flavourful goodness.

If you’re willing to take up the challenge, try the Spicy Sambal Rice Dumpling (S$10). Packed with intense spices and ingredients, the dumpling is also filled with onion, garlic, home-made dried shrimp sauce and luscious pork belly.

For a gratifying vegetarian option, Wan Hao is also offering a 5-Grain Rice Dumpling (S$9), crafted with a variety of healthy ingredients such as brown rice, oats and sorghum rice. For an extra kick, Wan Hao has also included vegetarian Bak Kwah inside the multi-grain rice exterior.
