Phat Cat Laundry – Singapore’s First Laundromat-Themed Bar Opens At Jiak Chuan Road

Phat Cat Laundry

The bar scene in Singapore is growing from strength to strength and our nation is already home to an impressive list of award-winning bars.

A night out is no longer just about incessant drinking. The demand for high-quality cocktails, gourmet bar nosh and top-notch hospitality is ever-increasing and Singaporeans are becoming more receptive about splurging on such experiences.

Asian-inspired bars are trending right now and reputable watering holes such as Ding Dong and Sum Yi Tai are great examples. And Phat Cat Laundry is one new addition; it is Singapore’s First Laundromat-Themed Bar where you can expect Asian-inspired cocktails and Asian fusion dishes.

Phat Cat Singapore

Located along Jiak Chuan Road, Phat Cat Laundry officially opened its doors to public on 28 October 2016. Phat Cat Laundry’s unique concept is nothing like we have ever seen before. Think rows of detergent boxes displayed like artworks, an oriental paw-waving cat—symbollic of fortune—as its logo and cocktails aptly named after laundry stuff.

Sink your teeth into Brontosaurus Char Siu Beef Rib and Sichuan Burge, before “washing yourselves” with some Foam Party. Wait a second, we aren’t encouraging you to poison yourselves. The Foam Party cocktail is actually Phat Cat Laundry’s interpretation of the Pina Colada.Phat Cat Laundry’s handcrafted Asian-inspired cocktails are priced at S$26 nett each.

There are several other hilariously named drinks such as Panties On Fire and Dirty Laundry. Phat Cat Laundry’s handcrafted Asian-inspired cocktails are priced at S$26 nett each.
