Despite being labelled as an IT-focused mall, the newly-reopened Funan is home to a myriad of new F&B concepts and stores. From bubble tea to protein bowls and ice cream, Funan is quite the budding hot spot in Singapore.

From the same people who brought us Chye Seng Huat Hardware, PPP Coffee (previously known as Papa Palheta) has opened in the revamped Funan. Serving up an extensive range of single-origin filter coffees, pastries and other signature brews, it’s a great place to stop by if you need a quick pick-me-up.

Elixir Boutique Roasters – New Bean-To-Bar Coffee Shop at Serene Centre

A new addition to the trove of cafés and restaurants nearby the Botanic Gardens is Elixir Boutique Roasters. This bean-to-bar café doesn’t reveal its exact location in Serene Centre and encourages you to hunt them down instead. But lucky for you, we’ve hunted it down for you!

Located at the street level of Serene Centre, the café is so nondescript—dimly lit and no signboard—you’ll probably miss it if you’re weren’t looking for it. Elixir Boutique Roasters takes over the premise of Sugarhaus and shares the same space as Fat Belly which operates at night. Still in their opening phase, coffees here are currently pay as you wish. Apartment Coffee - New Coffee Shop At Lavendar Road For The Minimalists

There is something so incredibly satisfying about a place that is minimalistically furnished, so you could imagine our excitement when we discovered Apartment Coffee at 161 Lavender Street in Singapore.

Apartment Coffee is a minimalist’s dream, with a beautiful, clean interior that is decorated with Scandinavian-style furniture.

This little cafe specialises in homebrewed coffees that are made on the spot right in front of you, and it is a great place if you just want to retreat from the rest of the world and have a bit of alone time with a cuppa.
