How to get on Instagram Popular Page

Instagram

I am addicted to Instagram. It is so fun. I love taking photos, and Instagram is perfect as it lets me share the precious memories with my readers and friends. For those of you who have been living in a cave, Instagram is a free photo-sharing program and social network. It allows users to take a photo, apply a filter, and share it with other Instagram users.

If you are on Instagram, I am sure you would have noticed the ‘Popular’ feed. To put it simply, Instagram’s popular page is where you can see the “most popular photos” by its 80 million registered users worldwide. Note: the key is worldwide. When your photo gets onto popular page, everyone around the world who is using Instagram will be able to see it, like it, and follow you. Which explains why getting on popular page is the fastest way to get more Instagram followers.

Instagram uses a special formula to determine which photos make it to the Popular feed – in short, nobody really knows the exact way to become popular on Instagram. For the past month, I’ve been getting onto Instagram’s Popular Page at least once a day, and from there, I’ve observed certain patterns.

Below, I will share some tips on How to get on Instagram’s Popular Page.

JAAN Restaurant Singapore

tomate coeur de boeuf

One of the best meals that I had last year was at JAAN Restaurant Swissotel, and I’ve been suggesting it whenever someone asks me for recommendations.

I was thrilled when Chef Julien Royer extended an invitation to try his summer menu. But at the same time, I was a little afraid. What if it wasn’t as good as before? I had a fantastic experience at JAAN previously and I did not want to tarnish that memory.

I went back and I had a spectacular meal. Chef Julien has done it again. I dare say you will find it very hard to find a restaurant which can offer a better dining experience.

He has been helming the kitchen for a year, and given that he has managed to settle down, I have no doubt that the upcoming year will be good times for the restaurant and we can definitely expect greater things to come. JAAN is still one of the best, if not the best restaurant in Singapore.

Toby’s Estate Coffee Singapore

Toby's Estate

Robertson Quay is my favourite dining area in Singapore – in fact, I go there almost every week. One of the places that I went to a while back is Toby’s Estate, a renowned coffee chain from Australia.

I first learnt about Toby’s Estate through some friends. They were raving about the coffee, even to the extent of proclaiming it as one of the best coffee joints in town. When I was meeting Beatrice and Velda for brunch, I suggested going to Toby’s Estate, and while the food did not blow us away, the coffee was excellent, and the company was even better.

Osia Restaurant Resorts World Sentosa

Osia Restaurant

The dining landscape in Singapore has changed remarkably in the last few years and it is exciting to be here at this time.

On the contrary, despite what some people might think, the arrival of big-name-chefs have benefited the food & beverage industry as they provide invaluable experience, and at the same time, they create healthy competition that “forces” other restaurants to up their game.

Over at Osia Restaurant in Resorts World Sentosa, we have Chef Scott Webster from Australia who is a consultant to the restaurant. He plays a big role in influencing the menu along with Chef de Cuisine Douglas Tay.

The restaurant has recently started a ‘Cooking with Friends’ series, where Chef Scott Webster would invite his chef friends to cook in Singapore. For the first instalment back in July, Chef Chris Taylor from Perth created a delectable menu with inspirations from Western Australia, including yellow tail kingfish, sea urchin roe, and truffle.
