We had the Seafood Marinara Pasta which came with a traditional spaghetti. The pasta is drenched in a tangy tomato sauce with a kick of spice and fresh basil. Atop the spaghetti is a medley of shrimp, squid and octopus.
We liked how vibrant the sauce tasted and it was easy to eat – not jelak and cloying in the least. We appreciated how generous the portion was and how much seafood there was. The pasta was springy and had a good bite too!
Try their Beef Ragu pasta and their Pesto variations as well if you’re not a seafood fan! They go well with Littlepeople Cafe’s Tagliatelle form of pasta.
One of the menu items that caught our eyes was the Popiah Ice Cream. We simply had to order it to see how it was supposed to look and taste!
We definitely weren’t disappointed because when it arrived at our table, we were pretty wow-ed by it. Mini scoops of yam and strawberry ice cream were garnished with crispy popiah skin, with more popiah skin underneath. There were cookie crumbs, pomegranate seeds, lemon zest and mint leaves as well.
It was such a flavour explosion yet brought back some nostalgic memories with the familiar-flavoured ice cream.
The last dessert we tried was their ever-changing flavour of soft serve from Littlerabbit Softserve. The one we tried was a Single-Origin Coffee Softserve, sitting atop dry ice for that Instagram-worthy effect.
We loved how smooth the soft serve was – it wasn’t too icy as well. The flavour of the coffee in the ice cream was simply ambrosial, lulling our spoons to fight over it.
