We have huge expectations from our burgers: bun, patty, sauces, accompanying toppings… every element must be right.
At Patty & Bun, the stars are aligned. There are 8 types of burgers on the menu, with ‘Smokey Robinson’ Burger (£9.50) being our absolute favourite. The smokey P&B mayo is the dealbreaker here, along with a heap of caramelized onions. Quite an explosion of flavours there, you can imagine.
Not a fan of beef? No problem. Go for the ‘Hot Chic’ Chicken Burger (£9.25) which comprises a huge piece of buttermilk fried chicken, pickled cucumber and smoked garlic aioli. Lovely textural variety, and something that is slightly lighter on the palate.
There are vegetarian options, and you can also top-up of £1 for gluten-free buns.
Enjoy some chips on the side; we love the Chips with Roast Chicken Mayo & Chicken Skin Salt (£3.95).
Patty & Bun also has their own beer! They’ve teamed up with FourPure Brewery to create their own poison that’s really a refreshing pilsner £4.75 per bottle.
