Coffee aficionados in Singapore went absolutely crazy when popular Japanese coffee shop % Arabica opened its first store in Singapore at Arab Street last year.

The brand prides itself for its use of quality coffee beans which are harvested from their own farm in Hawaii as well as sourced from various places around the world.
A piping hot cup of their classic Cafe Latte (S$7 for short, S$8 for tall) is great for days when you need a shot of energy or a morning perk-me-up. Aromatic with a slightly nutty taste, % Arabica’s Cafe Latte had a pleasantly bitter aftertaste that was soothed by the mellow creaminess of the milk.

APOLLO COFFEE BAR
Relatively new to the local cafe scene, Apollo Coffee Bar in Serangoon Gardens is opened by the same guys behind the popular Atlas Coffeehouse and Columbus Coffee Co. It has already made quite a name for itself with its Mediterranean-inspired brunch creations and excellent coffee.

Common Man Coffee Roasters was started by the Spa Esprit Group (the same folks behind Forty Hands and House) and has long known to be one of the best places to have a cup of aromatic coffee.

Coffee connoisseurs will definitely appreciate the effort taken by Oriole Coffee + Bar to offer the best brews in Singapore by travelling to countries like Ethiopia to source for beans and roasting them locally. Aside from single origin coffee brews, cold brews served black, with milk or non-dairy M.A.D milk (cold-pressed nut milk) are some crowd favourites you will be able to enjoy at the coffee specialty house.
In particular, the Death Cream (S$10++) is a special concoction of vanilla beans, espresso and cream – high level of caffeine well-balanced with the ensuing vanilla taste.
