But fret not, for here are 9 coffee places in Tanjong Pagar where you can get coffee that will help you to stay awake.

Pacamara coffee cafe

#4 ALCHEMIST – PACAMARA

Coffee brewing has been known to be a pretty exact science. From having the perfect brewing temperatures down to decimal placings, to using water with the right amount of total dissolved solids (TDS), it takes the best in the trade to produce that unforgettable cup of coffee.

As the name suggests, Alchemist seeks perfection with every fresh brew in a minimalistic, modern alcove in the midst of the busy working crowd.

An extension of the popular Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roasters along Upper Thomson Road, patrons can expect the same lab-esque approach to coffee making that uses the single blend of Arabica coffee sourced from Thailand that is roasted fresh daily.

Prices are justifiable for their range of quality drinks ranging from S$3 for an espresso to S$6.50 for an iced mocha. You definitely would not go wrong with perfectionists at work.

Dapper Coffee

#8 DAPPER COFFEE

Heading up to level 2 of 73 Amoy Street to Dapper Coffee was a tiny setback, especially after trudging through Singapore’s humid weather. But the cosy space is a great place to spend an idyllic afternoon over great coffee.

The swanky interior resembles a cool British pub. The coffee aroma that filled the air was alluring and we were thankful for the good range of different coffee to choose from.

Drury Lane

#9 DRURY LANE

One of the cafes in the Tanjong Pagar neighbourhood that we go to regularly is Drury Lane.

We have had the coffee at Drury Lane on many occasions and it is always consistent and reliable, especially when we need a pick-me-up after back to back meetings. The baked goods are also worth a try. With several desserts like nutella chocolate tart, carrot cake, and salted caramel tart on rotation, you will be spoiled silly at Drury Lane.
