The Seared New Zealand Calamari first wowed us with its generous portion. For only S$9.90, all we can say is that this dish is extremely worth every penny. The carefully seared calamari is doused in a garlic butter reduction sauce and served with some fresh greens on the side.
This could be a meal to yourself or as a sharing platter for the table. The squid used is so fresh and you can really taste that freshness as you bite into it, before getting hit with the aromatic garlic butter.
The latter is a French Butter Brioche that can very well be a full meal if you’re looking for something light and sweet. The brioche is definitely fluffy, and with the inclusion of vanilla cinnamon infusion, the taste is enhanced further. Topped with berries and caramelised hazelnuts, this might just be your best bet for an affordable weekend brunch!
