#3 BLACKBIRD BISTRO & BAR
Unbelievably juicy, Blackbird shows us what a really good deep-fried chicken patty really is with their take on the Southern Burger (S$16.80), featuring two very photogenic charcoal beef buns. We love slices of cheese that top the chicken patty off for a salty but very satisfying overall taste.

#4 CANDOUR COFFEE
Located along Beach Road, Candour Coffee is a Melbourne-inspired specialty coffee shop that all coffee lovers have to check out.
Candour Coffee’s Bacon-wrapped Chicken Burger (S$11++) is sinful but absolutely delicious. A generous amount of bacon, chicken, cheese, lettuce, tomato and homemade barbecue sauce is stuffed between two burger buns.

#5 EWF BY EVERYTHING WITH FRIES
The Har Jeong Kai Burger (S$8.90/ala-carte, S$11.90/meal) is a luscious Asian fusion creation of succulent prawn paste chicken patty sandwiched between two delicate handmade sesame buns. It had won a legion of fans in Singapore and we are unabashedly one of them.

The main draw of Fatboy’s is the ability to design your own burger with their wide range of ingredients. Since their inception a few years ago, Fatboy’s has expanded tremendously to also include smaller scale eateries such as The Burger Bar, where we can get our fix of the same delicious Fatboy’s burgers! The name sums it all up. It is da bomb! This beautiful burger consists of crispy bacon, a sunny side up egg and melted cheese on top of a 250g juicy beef patty. The burger is every bit pretty, and even comes with a generous helping of fries and fruit salad. The Da Bomb Burger (S$19) from Fresh Fruits Lab is definitely worth travelling to the East for!

#8 HUBER’S BUTCHERY
Burgers are the best hearty options anywhere you go, and Huber’s Butchery probably has one of the best classic beef burgers in Singapore. With a solid, flavourful and juicy patty, the Huber’s Beef Burger (S$15) ticks all the boxes on the list. It is hard to not love a good burger that is topped off with bacon and caramelised onions like this.

#10 LITTLE HIRO
This is the most unique burger on the list as it is the only one that features two slices of ramen ‘bun’ instead of the conventional bread bun. The Chicken Kaarage Ramen Burger (S$10.20) wowed us with the crispness yet still-springy ramen noodles.

The classic Omakase Cheeseburger (S$14.90) is dubbed as the “Best Burger in Singapore” by some, and we can see why. The hand-ground beef patty sandwiched between two burger buns tasted like heaven. Amazingly, the beef patties are so juicy on the numerous occasions we went. That’s the kind consistency we love!

The Wild Rocket Beef Burger (S$18.50) sits pretty with a side of fries. Although the burger looks plain, it tasted pretty amazing. The patty is sandwiched together with arugula, sarawak pepper cream and sun-dried tomato relish. No extra hoo-ha, just simple goodness.

Biting into this really is messy, but it will be more than worth it. The Messy Mexican (S$16) at Third & Sixth Bistrobar shows us how a Mexican-style burger should be done with the added use of beef chilli and guacamole. The flavours in this beautiful are dimensional and very intriguing!

#15 TWO BLUR GUYS
Two Blur Guys specialises in burgers and they have a variety of different meats. We enjoyed the classic Prime Beef Burger (S$14.95) and Pulled Pork Burger (S$13.85) the best. The former features a well-cooked beef patty, while the latter boasts a filling of pulled pork that was tender and delicious when slathered with a mild mustard mayo.
