Le Halo at Jalan Bukit Ho Swee – Retro-Themed Cafe In The Heartland

Le Halo Cafe Singapore

Le Halo at Jalan Bukit Ho Swee prides itself in being a retro themed cafe situated in the heartlands of Singapore. Together with online retail shop Chairish The Moments, the owner of the cafe furnished its interior with vintage knick-knacks from the yesteryears.

With the bright splash of colours found at almost every corner of the cafe, there will never be a dull moment here.

Apart from its eye-catching decor, other things to note is their selection of all-day breakfasts – all well priced below S$15; think Western food with an added Singaporean flavour.

Le Halo Singapore

A series of playthings from the 70s to 90s era such as champak, marbles and five stones are also displayed on every table for one to embrace their inner child and to reminisce good times from the past. For the Instagram enthusiasts, they make great photo-taking props!

Nothing screams good cafe-hopping food like two perfectly poached eggs served on a platter. The Eggs Benny (S$13.50) at Le Halo though, is served with an added twist with eggs cooked in two variants – poached and baked. The poached egg is presented atop toasted bread, a slice of ham and drenched with hollandaise sauce. Baked egg, on the other hand, is wrapped with toasted bread and accompanied with a strip of bacon.

Kueh Lapis Rainbow

For the dessert loving folks, go for the Rainbow Kueh Lapis (S$1.70). This insanely gorgeous creation will be the prettiest version you will ever taste; and it is pleasantly moist too!
