By now, I am sure everyone has already booked a nice restaurant to celebrate Mother’s Day. I think it is a great opportunity to show our appreciation to one of the most important people in our lives.
Besides bringing her for a nice Mother’s Day dinner, everyone should also prepare a little present. There are so many things you can do/get for your mom – go for a weekend getaway; bring her for a spa treatment; or accompany her to a cooking class.
If you are still thinking of what to get, here’s a guide to Mother’s Day gift ideas.
One of the best things about being in Singapore is that it’s just a few hours away from many amazing cities in the region. With budget airlines like Scoot, AirAsia, Tiger, and Jetstar offering affordable tickets, there’s no excuse for not going on a getaway. Bring your mother for a weekend getaway – Hong Kong, Bali, Bangkok, and the list goes on. Have fun!
Tea gift set
If your mom is a tea lover, what better gift to get her than a TWG Tea gift set?
The Gourmet Tea Set with French Earl Grey Tea ($63) consists of an Haute Couture Tin of the French Earl Grey Tea, a jar of the special TWG Tea sugar, and a jar of the addictive French Earl Grey tea jelly.
Jewellery is a woman’s best friend. Every woman loves jewellery, and your mother is no exception.
When I was in New York City, I bought a simple Tiffany & Co necklace for my mom, and she was grinning to herself for weeks. Remember, it is not about the value, it is about the thought behind your gift.
