Local cafe famed for their specialty desserts – Sunday Folks – opened its doors about a year ago at Chip Bee Gardens and took our nation by storm with its irresistibly delicious sweets.

Café hoppers and foodies alike flocked to the spacious café to sample Sunday Folks’ delectable offerings of freshly baked Belgian waffles and mouthwatering ice cream. The one-year-old café’s menu is fairly limited – there are only six ice cream flavours – yet sees no lack of customers till date.

The sweet treats at Sunday Folks do not just look good – they taste good too. The folks at Sunday Folks aim to present their desserts in the freshest form, and this vision had soon became their winning recipe.

Indeed, waffles will only be baked after your order is taken and the same applies to the preparation of the freshly churned ice cream. As a result, a minimum waiting time of 15 minutes is required and subjected to increase when volume of orders is high.

There are only six ice cream flavours to choose from – Dark Chocolate, Earl Grey Lavender, Roasted Pistachio, Sea Salt Gula Melaka and Summer Strawberries – and each portion comes with preselected toppings. Have your tasty ice cream concoction in a cup (S$7.20) or handmade cone (S$7.20).

You can also have your ice cream on a waffle slice (S$8.80) or two slices (S$11.80) – they will be paired with blueberries, sliced strawberries, maple syrup and chocolate hazelnut sauce.
