A&W Singapore

Dear A&W,

Ever since you pulled out of Singapore many years ago, poor Singaporeans have to go all the way to other cities like Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Batam in order to satisfy our cravings. How can you be so heartless to deny us of curly fries, root beer float, coney dogs, and ice cream waffle?

Someone, please bring A&W back to Singapore!

(To any potential investors who might be interested in bringing A&W restaurant back to Singapore, 5 million Singaporeans will be eternally grateful to your company.)

I know you didn’t do well due to the intense competition from rival fast food restaurants, but hey, everyone deserves a second chance. Just look at how Wendy’s, Domino’s Pizza, and Dunkin’ Donuts have made a comeback in Singapore. You can do it too!

Okie, obviously emotional appeals do not work on you. Otherwise how can you explain the fact that plenty of petitions to bring A&W back to Singapore failed? I shall try another method. A&W, you better come back to Singapore. Otherwise, I’ll boycott you when I go overseas.

    I really miss their rootbeer float. so sad that A&W did not come back…

    A&W and their curly fries, rootbeer float and waffles reminds me of my younger days as a excited child who pesters her mom every wkend to have some.

    Thx God, my country (Jakarta, Indonesia) still have A&W. but now it’s hardly to find around my home. hikz.. I always eat the curly potato and root beer float. can’t miss that 2..

    My favorite mall and the one local mall at my living are each has an A&W joint. And one is about to open, not far from my house. So that means 3 A&W joints around me, can’t be happier.. I love their chicken & curly fries!

    @KDJ I love their fried chicken too….kinda small compared to other fast food chain, but is really tasty when it is super hot!

    The franchise fees alone is US$1m.

    Haha I still have their large size collectable Root Beer Mug, brought it at the A&W clementi outlet before pulling out business from singapore.

    My sentiments as well, we used to have the one and only A&W in Sabah almost a decade ago. It’s too bad that they’ve moved out. I really missed their curly fries and Ice cream waffles. Please come back to Sabah too!

    It is a must if I touch down Jakarta Airport to have AW otherwise I will head to Tanah Abang level 8 foodcourt at Block A :) nice relaks place amidst the crowd at few levels below… :)

    I really love their morning breakfast whereby they serve Waffles with eggs, etc. Always have it for my breakfast when I’m younger! I miss A&W too!!!
