Located just across the Serangoon Stadium, it is pretty easy to miss The Plain Jane – a quaint little cafe which just opened recently; it is unassuming, but definitely worth looking out for. The interior is filled with vintage items and collectibles, and how we love those hanging lightbulbs.

Jane, the lady boss (hence, the name of this cafe) shared about her daily fresh bakes with much enthusiasm. Do not expect rainbows cakes and bright bakes here, because Jane likes to keep everything simple. Well, The Plain Jane, right?

Coffee-lovers would be no stranger to this name – Dutch Colony Coffee Co. This specialised coffee house has two outlets in Singapore – at Pasarbella and Frankel Avenue.

Since its opening, we’ve visited the Frankel Avenue outlet a few times and definitely loving it! The interior is lovely and casual, perfect to relax over some coffee while catching up on a latest book, and to simply stay away from the world.

Our favourite cafe in the East – Fresh Fruits Lab – is now extending their hours to welcome all supper-goers!

We cannot be happier to know, because this simply means pigging out does not stop anytime soon with the many supper options put in place for us. On Fridays and Saturdays, and the eve of Public Holidays, Fresh Fruits Lab will open till 2am, and you can expect a supper menu that is nothing short of creative.

We are telling you that the late night dining menu is gonna make sinning worth the while. And that includes, behold, Unicorn Donuts! YOU HAVE TO TRY THEM, JUST BECAUSE. Fresh Fruits Lab is only serving only 40 #UnicornDonuts on Fridays, Saturdays, and the eve of Public Holidays from 10pm to 2am. Best supper food ever!

[Closed] Collective Brewers – Cold Drip Coffee And Pandan Chicken Burger

It was lovely to step into the quaint little coffee house, Collective Brewers, along the rather quiet Changi Road on a weekday afternoon. The interior was spacious with very ample sunlight flowing in. We could also catch a whiff of the aromatic coffee being served to other customers.

While we came specifically for the Cold Drip coffee, we saw a ton of awesome hot food on the menu; think pastas and burgers.

So here’s sharing some simple thoughts on what we liked about Collective Brewers – yes yes yes, their coffee please.
