Balibola is one of the latest hypes in Bali and it is easily one of the best we’ve been to lately.
It is a located in Seminyak, alongside many other great cafes and dining options, but it certainly doesn’t get overshadowed by the other players.
With a strong belief that you should be inviting healthy foods into your body and only eating meat occasionally, Balibola is a plant-based cafe with several great vegan options. Its well-thought design and interior are also made for Instagram.
Talk about beach clubs and Bali is home to aplenty, but one that we really love is Ulu Cliffhouse. Situated at Uluwatu, Ulu Cilffhouse has a panoramic view of the sea and is one of the best spots in Uluwatu to catch the sunsets.
Sexy vibes, a great drinks menu, a comprehensive food menu, a retail store, and unbeatable vantage points; a trip to this beach club is definitely a must when in Bali.
Fancy dining underwater with schools after schools of fishes swimming around you while you enjoy fine seafood cuisine? Then you have to check out Koral Restaurant.
Koral Restaurant is Bali’s first underwater restaurant within an aquarium and it sits within the one-year-old The Apurva Kempinski Bali. The multisensory restaurant has been super popular among both locals and visitors since it was introduced and reservations are most definitely recommended.

Cold Stone Creamery is closing in Singapore after 10 years of operation. Cold Stone Creamery proudly dubs themselves as ‘Ice Cream Innovators’. Their ice cream is freshly made on the spot—smooth, rich and creamy.
At the same time, the popular ice cream parlour is also known for providing great entertainment value when it comes to their signature ‘ice cream toss’ dance and they throw pretty great private parties too—think party food, adorable character-themed ice cream cakes and colourful party decorations.
All outlets in Singapore will operate until 31 January 2020. We are fans of Cold Stone Creamery’s ice cream and it is sad to hear that they are closing in Singapore.
Hui Lau Shan is a household name in Hong Kong and is well-loved for their wide range of desserts and drinks, especially mango desserts.
Their presence in Hong Kong is quite possibly the strongest for you would find an outlet (or two, or more) at every neighbourhood. It is also something that we always eat whenever we are in the Pearl of the Orient.
Hui Lau Shan was once in Singapore and that was about a decade ago. But they didn’t make it then, and rumours had it that it was way too pricey and the standards were not there. But we do not dwell on the past; we rejoice because they are returning in 2020!

Taipei’s Ningxia Night Market is coming to Singapore from 16 Jan to 9 Feb 2020!
Asian Night Market will be featuring more than 30 food stalls directly from Taipei’s Ningxia Night Market. Ningxia Night Market may not be as well known as the other famous night markets in Taipei—such as Shilin Night Market, Shida Night Market and Raohe Night Market—but it offers just as fantastic street food as the larger ones do and it is one we always visit when we are in Taipei.
Xiao Di Fried Prawn Noodles is an all-time favourite of ours all these years and if you haven’t tried it, you’re indeed missing out in life.
Hawker food is of ultimate comfort to us, and what makes it even better is seeing young people run the stalls. It is a dying trade, sadly, for being a hawker means very long working hours and physically-taxing duties.
Perhaps, that’s what made Xiao Di Fried Prawn Noodles a stand-out; the couple running the stall is only 30 years young! And they’ve totally nailed the well-loved fried prawn noodles. We’ll go out on a limb and say that this is the best Hokkien Mee in Singapore.
