Peanut butter. Fitness junkies consider it a superfood high in healthy fats, never failing to include it in their protein shakes, smoothies and morning toast while others—like us—appreciate it for its sinful appeal. Adding it into a dessert or even a dish provides a heightened butteriness accented with a nutty flavour that is just pure bliss.
As a flavour of ice cream, on pancakes, layered into a decadent chocolate cake or even slapped on a savoury beef burger, here is our list of peanut butter-laden dishes in Singapore loaded with nutty, buttery goodness. You’ll fall in love #3 in a heartbeat.
CREAMIER – PEANUT BUTTER JELLY ICE CREAM
Located in the tranquil, nature-filled enclave of Gillman Barracks lies Creamier, an artisanal ice cream parlour that boasts some seriously interesting flavours. We are huge fans of their Peanut Butter & Jelly flavour as well as their locally inspired Kaya Toast.

TWO MEN BAGEL HOUSE – PBJ
Bagels are a New Yorkers staple and while they look like a doughnut, they really aren’t as greasy, let alone heart attack-inducing. They are baked instead of fried and are much denser. The common combination is to eat it with cream cheese, capers, dill and smoked salmon but here at Two Men Bagel House, they do it in numerous ways—some even too crazy to imagine. We love their PBJ, a bagel loaded with creamy peanut butter and sweet, tangy jelly.
