Emporium Shokuhin has finally landed on our shores and this massive Japanese Megamart is set to dominate the Japanese supermarket industry in Singapore. It also includes eight different Japanese dining concepts within the gargantuan premises, as the store itself spans over 34,000 sq ft.
As the undying trend of Japanese produce gets stronger and stronger in Singapore, the opening of Emporium Shokuhin at Marina Square is certainly turning heads. It is said that the prices here at the megamart, will be slightly cheaper than the market price at other supermarkets.
As Singapore’s first integrated Japanese Emporium, we can only look forward to visiting this amazing concept at Marina Square
Emporium Shokuhin in Singapore consists of many sections and these include – a live seafood market, a beef dry-aging facility, a dedicated Japanese gourmet grocer and the 8 different dining concepts that range from a seafood wine bar to a Japanese bakery.
Produce here are flown in thrice weekly to ensure freshness. As Singaporeans become increasingly well-travelled and more knowledgeable about premium Japanese meats, produce and seafood, they will certainly appreciate everything this mega Emporium has to offer.
For all the foodies out there excited to know what they can try at the 8 F&B concepts, get really excited for a sushi bar that will be offering a dish called Giant Chirashi, which is an upsized take on the conventional portion. Another interesting concept is UMI + VINO, a seafood and wine pairing restaurant, where you get to enjoy them both in perfect harmony.
