“How much do you spend on food each month?”
I get this question all the time but the truth is, the amount that I spend on shopping each month is more than what I spend on food! Besides physical retail stores, there is also online shopping, and I’m sure you have heard of Jipaban.com through the various social media platforms.
Flor Patisserie by Chef Yamashita is a new Japanese Patisserie in Singapore. The talented chef was previously from the ever-popular Patisserie Glace, left and set up his own dessert place at the quaint Duxton Hill.
Fatboys The Burger Bar is a burger place in Singapore that serves comfort food, burgers, milkshakes and floats. I will get to that in a while, but now I want to tell you more about what I think of burgers, in general.
Before I started this Singapore Food Blog, I thought that burgers only came from fast food restaurants. Can you believe that I spent the first two decades of my life having only them? That’s not all, I was also convinced that they were the definition of good burgers.
Oh our love-hate relationship with cravings. It is almost impossible to ignore them, and they always sneak in and catch us unaware during the middle of the night. Sometimes, we don’t really have a choice but to satisfy it.
I was craving for Chilli Crabs a while back, and decided on Seafood Paradise Restaurant at Singapore Flyer since all of us have never been there before.

Miss Earth Singapore is the one who taught me this, and like what I’ve mentioned before — it’s easy to be influenced by her passion to make changes and help the environment. Today, I’m not going to talk about the good food in Singapore. Instead, I will like to bring your attention to something more serious: Food Wastage in Singapore.
I’m not about to write a thesis on food wastage and starvation in the world. I’m definitely not dumb enough to bore you with the statistics, because chances are, you will just switch off and look at my other food reviews. Please give me a minute of your time to read this post, because everyone can play a part to help the environment.
In the local Singapore food scene, there are always new restaurants opening and it is good since we have more options to choose from. Dempsey road restaurants is probably one of the most happening food destinations in Singapore. The Disgruntled Chef is the latest restaurant to join the crowd at dempsey hill, but when it comes to choosing a place for dinner – I would head back to Barracks Cafe, House Dempsey road.

Each time I visit a new airport, I can’t help but to compare it with Singapore Changi Airport. The outcome is always the same — very few airports in the world can match Singapore Changi Airport in terms of efficiency and facilities.
