Located at 313 Somerset is LaLune Croissant. With the current craze over bubble tea and pretty pastries, LaLune is set to wow you with their colourful array of drinks and croissants full of delicious fillings.

LaLune’s drinks have zero preservatives and artificial flavouring, only using freshly-brewed teas and all-natural fruits. Their little tea bottles also add a wonderful touch being so compact.

Did we mention LaLune was opened by a local NTU graduate? It’s a great time to #SupportLocal with so many big franchises from overseas popping up in Singapore.

LaLune serves up many varieties of croissants – from classics such as their Custard Croissant (S$3.90) and Honey Croissant (S$3.90) to the unique Cinammon Apple Croissant (S$3.90).

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>//

They are all freshly baked and delightfully crisp, while not being too heavy on the palate.

LaLune also has an extensive drink menu featuring various types of tea. The signature drink is the brown sugar tapioca pearl milk tea, coined the “Dirty Milk Tea” (S$4).

If you prefer lighter drinks, they have a plethora of fruity brews as well! These include the tropical Dragon Royale (S$5) – a dragonfruit and oolong blend – as well as their Lime Royale (S$4.50), which is a mix of lemon, lime and green tea with crystal pearls.

If you’re craving a quick pick-me-up, LaLune’s teas and croissants would be your new favourite croissant go-to. They open pretty early, so you can grab these light bites just before you head off to work.

While most would still be focused on all the new things to do and see in Jewel Changi Airport, this June, we are shifting our gaze away to look at all the new openings that are worthy of a stopover in the rest of the country.

We found creative dishes such as a fish fillet prepared with Twisties, as well as a durian-centric cafe, a garden-themed hideaway, and a new bubble tea concept place. Here are 10 new openings we think are worthy of your calories.

CAMACA

Camaca is a sugar-free dessert cafe, serving up indulgent treats that come without the guilt, along with a wide selection of single-origin coffees. The deceiving giant macarons on display are just packaging for the gelato inside, keeping the gelato from turning too icy so it maintains a smooth texture. They even have a special machine to “de-shell” their gelato and to churn it out in a swirl after.
