After a two-year long renovation, Higher Ground Melbourne alas opened its doors to the public on 04 July 2016. The venue—located just across Southern Cross train station in the city—is housed within a heritage-listed 19th-century former power station and characterised by exposed brick walls, high ceilings of at least three storeys and beautiful arched windows.
Higher Ground Melbourne’s old-world charm is juxtaposed with lounge-style nooks, split-level mezzanines, potted greenery and minimalistic decors.
