For students, working professionals, freelancers and digital nomads, conducive work-friendly cafes in Singapore are never enough and at some of these places, you still have to deal with unstable WIFI, boring freezer food and coffee that is mediocre at best. Now, who has the time for that?

Here comes O’Coffee Club Xpress—a casual cafe that is equipped with free WIFI, power sockets, a curated range of gourmet food and coffee selections, as well as convenient Grab & Go salads and sandwiches for the busy people.

O’Coffee Club Xpress isn’t just for those who are looking for a workspace; if you want affordable lunch sets or a place for a quick lunch, this will be your answer too.

With six outlets islandwide, here is everything to love about the new O’Coffee Club Xpress.

O’COFFEE CLUB XPRESS CONCEPT

With six outlets islandwide, O’Coffee Club Xpress can be found at SMU, Raffles Place, Jurong Point, North Point and Changi Airport Terminals 2 and 4. The cafe runs a fuss-free, semi self-service concept with a range of Western-style hot food options and superfoods at the Grab & Go chiller.

Setting themselves apart from other coffee chains in Singapore, visitors are able to enjoy hearty food made from fresh and natural ingredients daily.

HOT & COLD CAFFEINE BEVERAGES

At their latest Changi Airport T4 outlet, coffee addicts will be pleased with the range of caffeine beverages using coffee beans that are roasted locally. Their coffee beans are being sourced from 7 different countries. Watch them brew your coffees at any of the O’Coffee Club Xpress hand brew bar in Singapore where they feature 3 distinct brewing methods!

Their 100% Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee Beans are also available for purchase at the stores.

O’Coffee Club Xpress also have various types of iced blends for all those who do not particularly favour hot drinks. Choose from a wide variety of iced blends—including mocha, caramel and vanilla!

Another cold beverage option not to miss is the Frozen Espresso Latte, in which espresso is frozen into ice cubes and put together with milk so it prevents your drink from watering down.

NITRO COLD BREW ON TAP

Have we mentioned that their Cold Brew is amazing? The Organic Jeju Cold Brew is definitely a notch above the rest.

For those who have yet to try Nitro cold brew coffee, it is essentially draft coffee infused with nitrogen which results in a smoother mouthfeel when you drink it. Give the intense and refreshing cold brew a try!

LIGHT BITES

The bestseller at O’Coffee Club Xpress is their customisable waffles. Diners get to pick their own waffle flavour—namely Matcha, Red Velvet, Charcoal and Original. But don’t stop there! Carry on your creation with their exciting savoury and sweet toppings.

Every waffle order is served with Coffee Maple Flavoured Syrup and Salted Gula Melaka.

We went for Matcha Waffle with Orange Mascarpone Cheese and Mixed Berries, Charcoal Waffle topped with Salted Egg Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle with Bratwurst Sausage and Scrambled Eggs.

For something comforting, give their Croque Madame a try. While it looks unassuming, the cheese-laden sandwich was the energy booster we needed to start our day on the right note.

Lavishly filled with layers of Virginia Ham, cheese, béchamel sauce and finished with a runny egg on the top, the Croque Madame makes for a great breakfast option! All you need is to pair it with a cup of hot coffee to complete the meal.

Those who are visiting O’Coffee Club Xpress in Changi Airport T4 can also opt for the French Toast, which is exclusively available at that outlet only.

If pastries are your thing, you will find plenty of options at O’Coffee Club Xpress. Watch the pastry chef craft them from scratch at the open kitchen beside the pastry counter.

Their in-store bakery carries all sorts of aromatic pastries and some highlights are Apple Turnover, Chicken Pie, Strawberry Basket and Jumbo Sausage Braid. All pastries can be warmed up upon request and are made fresh to order.

GOURMET FOOD SELECTION

Refuel your brains with some wholesome food; there are a ton of hot food options too.

Our favourite of the lot is the Chili Crab Pasta but be warned that it is not for the faint-hearted! It captures the essence of our favourite Singaporean local delight pretty well with the pasta being topped with a generous amount of chilli crab sauce and crab meat.

On days when you feel a little more famished, the Baked Yakiniku Chicken Thigh is what you need to go for. Together with the glorious golden brown chicken thigh, this dish is accompanied with creamy mashed potato and refreshing garden salad.

Full Breakfast, Eggs Benedict, Sausage & Mash and Salted Egg Prawn Pasta are just some other choices on the menu.

IT’S A MEATY MEATY AFFAIR

Lunch is the best time to visit O’Coffee Club Xpress as that is when you get to enjoy their Meaty Meaty Platter!

Featuring BBQ baby pork ribs, chicken chop, sausage, crispy bacon, sunny sid ups, mashed potato, side salad and creamy pepper sauce dip, this platter can be broken down into individual sets with sides.

GRAB & GO

If you are in a rush, O’Coffee Club has a convenient Grab & Go station that offers healthy and wholesome food options. A wide range of freshly-made salads and sandwiches are available, with the inclusion of our favourite Wasabi Prawn & Avocado and Smoked Duck salads on the premium line!

Besides that, all sandwiches can be warmed up upon request and are made fresh upon order!

Do note that every O’Coffee Club Xpress outlet differs in aesthetics and ambience, so even if you’ve been to one, you haven’t been to all. There are six outlets in Singapore waiting for you to check out!

This post is brought to you by O’Coffee Club Xpress.

Located on the first level of Gek Poh Shopping Centre in Jurong West, OH MY MANGO is a new dessert cafe that breathes new life into the somewhat run-down neighbourhood shopping centre. Specialising in Thai-inspired sweet treats, their menu boasts more than 40 different items from desserts to colourful beverages and even assorted Shibuya toasts that are available in both sweet and savoury varieties.

If you think that this is just another neighbourhood dessert pitstop, think again. On their menu, you can expect to find some pretty interesting offerings such as their Tom Yum Goong Toast (S$6.90) which is somewhat similar to a pizza except with the addition of the spicy and zesty flavours of Thailand’s iconic dish.

Those living in the West of Singapore truly have something to be glad about, especially with so many interesting cafes and eateries sprouting up around the area. Whether it’s a quick coffee run or a much-needed sugar spike, OH MY MANGO Dessert Cafe is a great option to consider.

This humble establishment has both indoor and outdoor seating but ordering is done in the separate unit just next door. Here, the overall appearance is kept minimalistic with plenty of hipsterish decors to give it a cafe-like vibe.

Their menu features more than 40 items ranging from sweet bingsu, a wide array of Shibuya toast options and a pretty extensive range of beverage options—from the iconic Thai milk tea to some quirky innovations.

Going by the name of OH MY MANGO, it would be a waste if we did not try at least one mango dessert, and boy were we impressed by the Fresh Mango Toast (S$10.90).

Comprising a scoop of mango-flavoured ice cream, cubes of deliciously sweet mango and a sprinkling of crushed almonds atop a thick and crispy slab of buttery toast, this to us gives the typical ice-cream-and-waffle combination a serious run for its money.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

While we prefer it au naturel with a slightly bitter aftertaste, you get to choose the amount of sugar to add in should you prefer it to be sweeter.

If a cold drink is what you are looking for to cool off from the heat, their Iced Genmaicha Latte (S$6) is a decent choice. It came with the right balance of cold, creamy milk and rich genmaicha powder which resulted in a robust flavour.

All beverages are made on the spot upon order and right in front of you, so you get to see the different techniques used to create your drink.

Yes, we are finally at the best part—Matcha Soft Serve. Served in two different sizes, the original cup goes for S$5 and you can get the large one for S$6.50. We honestly could not find a reason to dislike this sweet treat; it came with an intense matcha flavour and is really refreshing!

Besides matcha, the cafe also offers Cold Brew Soft Serve as well.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

The short journey from Lokkee to The Dragon’s Chamber is intriguing in itself. Entering through a random red door located in the middle of Lokkee, you will find yourself stumbling through a tunnel filled with mirrors and red fluorescent lighting. After which, you will move past a set of curtains which will eventually reveal a totally different space.

Upon entering and soaking up the atmosphere of the place, we finally understood what being in an underground Chinese triad den felt like. It was rather daunting at first, we won’t deny. The lights were dimly lit (there is only a total of 14 filament bulbs lighting up the entire place), giving the speakeasy restaurant a dark and dingy feel.

‘BAKKWA’ BACON SALAD

Making a grand entrance with an amazing fog effect, we were blown away by the beauty of the ‘Bakkwa’ Bacon Salad (S$32++). It is indeed a feast for both your eyes and taste buds.

What you get is succulent bacon strips grilled “bakkwa style”, giving it a lovely caramel coloured sheen and has a sweet and smokey flavour. Accompanied by fresh, oriental green salad, do not miss out on the lotus root croutons.

‘GUO TIE’ POTSTICKERS WITH DANCING CRAB® SIGNATURE SAUCE AND BAKED CHEESE

A collaboration with Dancing Crab®, those who are a fan of the Louisana seafood restaurant will recognise its signature cajun sauce which has been incorporated into grilled potsticker dumplings (S$18++). It is then topped with cheese before baking in the oven.

It was subtly spicy, giving it a good kick and the tartness from the sauce helped to cut through the intense meatiness of the potstickers really well.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

#5 POT-BAKED CURRY RICE

Hoshino Coffee’s Pot-Baked Curry Rice (S$15) is served piping hot on a sizzling hot pan. The robust dish of baked Japanese cheesy curry rice served with generous chunks of sausages, broccoli and a semi-molten egg, is actually a memorable highlight that we will gladly return regularly for. It is one of those amazing wonders-all-in-one-bowl dish.

#6 PANCAKE SOUFFLÉ

Pancake Soufflés are Hoshino Coffee’s best-selling desserts. Ironically, they are neither a soufflé nor a pancake, but are actually a cross-breed between these two classic dishes. Enjoy a single slice of soufflé-style pancake (S$9.80) or a double portion (S$12) with a choice of honey or maple syrup. You can also choose to have them with chocolate and banana or homemade whipped cream (single – S$13.50, double – S$16.80).

From time to time, limited edition selections are available and the current menu recommends Pancake Soufflé Style with Peach (single – S$14.50, double – S$17.80). By the way, we totally dig how they are so damn photogenic.

#7 ICE MATCHA LATTE WITH SOFTEE

Hoshino Coffee has an ultimate combo perfect for green tea lovers. The Ice Matcha Latte with Green Tea Flavoured Softee (S$9.30) is a delightful drink-cum-dessert. Why have just an element of green tea when you can have two? Do note that the cold beverage becomes milkier as the soft serve ice cream melts. Warning: this is an addictive treat.

#8 MATCHA / VANILLA SOUFFLÉ

The pot-baked soufflé (S$10.80) is available in either matcha or vanilla flavour. Each soufflé is baked upon order, so do be prepared to wait for at least 20 minutes before the dessert is presented to you fresh from the oven. Watch in awe as the soufflé’s jiggly pillow-like top eventually collapses into the ceramic dish containing it. If you have ordered the vanilla soufflé, you can choose from viscous chocolate or thick custard sauce as condiments. We suggest the former, because chocolate is always more decadent and satisfying, yes?

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

#9 FRENCH TOAST

The soft and fluffy lukewarm brioche French Toast with Caramel Nuts (S$10.80) is drizzled with caramel sauce and topped with sliced bananas, sifted icing sugar, pan-roasted almond slices. The large scoop of ‘ice-cream’ is actually a generous portion of chilled homemade whipped cream. A simpler variation of the French Toast (S$9.90) is available, where it is simply topped with sugar and cream.

#10 MILLE-FEUILLE

The Mille-Feuille is a flaky French-inspired dessert made with layers of incredibly thin and light puff pastry. We particularly enjoyed the Strawberry Mille-Feuille (S$15) where it was filled with vast amounts of piped cream, juicy strawberries, strawberry ice cream and jam.

If you were wondering, the strawberry ice cream and jam are actually hidden by the cream. Should strawberries not appeal to you, you can choose to have the Tiramisu Mille-Feuille (S$15) instead. Both Mille-Feuilles are exclusive to Capitol Piazza’s outlet so do make a special trip down to sample these sugary treats.

#11 HOSHINO HAND-DRIPPED COFFEE

The highest quality Arabica coffee beans have been selected by Hoshino’s in-house coffee blend specialist Master Kano, and are roasted over open fire. The piquant hot coffee (S$5.80) flavours leaves a pleasant acidic aftertaste and is best consumed within 15 minutes. You can choose to refill your coffee at 50% off for Hoshino Blend Coffee, Americano, and Iced Coffee – this is amazing news!

#12 HOT FRUIT TEA

If you are more of a tea person, you must not miss out on a fragrant pot of Hot Fruit Tea (S$9.90). This is our favourite drink! The refreshing fruity tea comes with an interesting mixture of freshly sliced apples, oranges, kiwis and blueberries. We were hopelessly addicted to the sweet tea and completely unsurprised when told that it at times sells out by afternoon.

#13 SAKURA LATTE

Contrary to popular belief, the gorgeous-looking pink coloured Sakura Latte is actually free from caffeine and colourings. You can choose to have it hot (S$9) or iced with softee (S$9.30). The milk-based beverage infused with cherry blossoms is actually very light and has an aromatic floral scent.

That moment when the lava oozes out of a Molten Lava Cake is almost unbeatable. We are all familiar with a chocolate lava cake, served warm with a center that gushes out once you cut it open.

What most do not know is that there are so many more flavours of lava cakes out there just waiting for you to try. We picked out the bests of many to share with you the best unique lava cakes in Singapore.

From Matcha to Peanut Butter, Misugaru (Korean grain) and Mao Shan Wang - here is a list of the 10 most unique lava cakes in Singapore. Now, it is time to explore!

#1 ARTISAN BOULANGERIE CO. – RASPBERRY CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE

This might look like the most boring or mild of the lot, but we can assure you that the cake itself is top notch. The cake did not taste overpowering with either chocolate or raspberry, and ABC managed to balance out all the flavours nicely in their Raspberry Chocolate Lava Cake (S$9). The warm cake will go perfectly alongside an iced cuppa.

#2 EAST 8 – MOLTEN LAVA PEANUT BUTTER DARK CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE

It was exciting digging into this beauty. While the cake (S$15) looked simple on the outside, molten warm peanut butter flows out magnificently upon digging in. The combination of chocolate and peanut butter is not new, but we loved how East 8 took the road less travelled and grabbed the opportunity to create this stunning lava cake.

#3 FYR CYCENE OND DRINC – PISTACHIO LAVA CAKE

Served with pandan ice cream, this dish has all the goodness of a perfect molten lava cake, minus the richness of chocolate. Good news for those who do not like decadent cakes! The distinct flavours of cinnamon added a nice touch to the dessert and the subtle hint of pistachio was weaved in together nicely. FYR’s Pistachio Lava Cake (S$10) has kept us longing for more.

#4 FIVE & DIME – GOLDEN CUSTARD LAVA CAKE

Five & Dime were one of the first to hop onto the salted egg yolk bandwagon by introducing their Golden Custard Lava Cake (S$12). Anything that oozes out with salted egg yolk goodness gets our heart, and Five & Dime totally aced this dessert dish.

Five & Dime’s Golden Custard Lava Cake is listed in our guide to 18 to-die-for salted egg yolk dishes in Singapore.

#5 HAHA THAI – RED VELVET LAVA CAKE

We were surprised to see a Thai restaurant serving lava cake, let alone Red Velvet Lava Cake (S$10.80) with a side of coconut ice cream! The cake looked unnervingly red when it first reached the table, but just like any good red velvet cake, the Red Velvet was subtly sweet with a distinct chocolatey taste. The refreshing coconut ice cream cuts the richness of the cake to make it more palatable.

#6 ICE EDGE CAFE – MAO SHAN WANG LAVA CAKE

The Mao Shan Wang Lava Cake (S$14.80) at Ice Edge Cafe shall be the Archilles’ heel for all durian lovers. The cake itself was surprisingly light and far from overwhelming. We made it even more badass with a scoop of Mao Shan Wang ice cream to be served with the lava cake. Best decision ever.

#7 OSIA – VALRHONA HOT CHOCOLATE SOUP

This simple molten lava cake is served alongside black pepper ice cream. Yes, you heard us right. Black pepper. Somehow the marriage of black pepper ice cream with a classic chocolate cake worked perfectly well. Don’t worry, it is still safe for the kids.

The Misugaru Lava Cake (S$8.90) is made up of 10 different Korean grain that bears a taste primarily made up of barley and lotus. This is probably the ‘healthiest’ tasting of the lot – significantly lighter on the palate, and nothing overly “heaty”. We love that it is topped with fruits for a kick of acidity!

#9 TO-GATHER CAFE – MATCHA LAVA CAKE

Matcha has always been a popular flavour and To-gather Cafe has gained some popularity with their take on a Matcha Lava Cake (S$7.20). The matcha flavour was distinct, and it makes such a pocket-friendly option!

Matcha might be a passing trend to some but die-hard enthusiasts of Matcha will prove you wrong, especially when specialised Matcha cafes such as Maccha House are still garnering a steady crowd on a daily basis.

Besides bursting with health benefits, Matcha also tastes unbelievably good and acts as a flavour enhancement to both sweet and savoury dishes. Maccha House serves an array of Japanese-style savoury mains (think udon and rice bowls), but we say skip the mains, and dive right for their amazing desserts.

Matcha drinks are also really popular here and we can see why. Their matcha latte is one of our favourites and one that we always return for.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

The Matcha Tiramisu (S$6) was served in a wooden box and comes with a miniature cup of tea on the side. One thing to note about the price point here is that everything is relatively inexpensive. We liked that the tiramisu was not too sweet but the taste of Matcha was still distinct.

Another dessert worth mentioning is the Matcha Chocolate Parfait (S$10), which is good to share for two. The star of the show was the rich and thick Matcha ice cream that had an intense taste of the fabulous Japanese green tea powder. The azuki and cornflakes added a textural diversity and complemented the concentrated Matcha flavours really well.

We would definitely return back to Maccha House for their sweet treats, or to stop by just to get some matcha ice cream on cone. Or maybe just a simple cup of their Matcha latte.

If you are clueless about what a Shibuya Toast is, it is basically just a sweeter version of a French toast with a plethora of colourful toppings. Originating from Tokyo itself, the reason why this beautiful thick toast dessert is such a hit in Singapore is simple – they taste as good as they look. Or sometimes even better.

The combination of perfectly buttered and toasted thick toast is decorated with sweet toppings that usually includes maple syrup, various flavours of ice cream or gelato, whipped cream and fruits.

Now, the golden question is – just where do you find the best Shibuya Toasts in Singapore? Read on to find out more.

#1 ASSEMBLY COFFEE

There are many versions and unique renditions of the Shibuya Toast and Assembly Coffee’s Brick Toast (S$12) is one of our favourites. Buttered and toasted cubes of the loaf are nicely crisp on the outside, while still retaining a nice fluffiness on the inside.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

It is topped off with vanilla ice cream and comes with a side of greek yogurt and strawberries. The toppings added a nice textural variety to the overall bite and for just S$12, this is definitely one of the cheaper Shibuya Toasts we can find in Singapore.

#2 DAZZLING CAFE

You would definitely have seen Dazzling Cafe’s insanely pretty range of Shibuya Toasts on all your social media platforms by now and we agree that they are worth the hype. While we might not be big fans of their savoury mains, their desserts were good enough to make us want to return for more. But be warned – the queue can go beyond an hour.

Our favourite has to be the Hazelnut Chocolate Honey Toast (S$19.90). The attention to detail is resounding, the cream that sits atop carefully designed and each cube of toast s filled with hazelnut chocolate – sinful goodness!

#3 DESSERT PROJECT

The Nutella Thick Toast (S$14.90) was a hit with every single one of our tastebuds because you know you can never go wrong when there is Nutella involved.

The thick toast is evenly toasted and the melted chocolate topping was a cherry on top of all the goodness. The toast is served warm, setting a contrasting note with the ice cream that is served generously in two scoops on the side.

#4 DOUBLE SCOOPS

Double Scoops offers two choices – a classic Shibuya Honey Toast (S$10) and a Nutella Banana Toast (S$11), each with one scoop of gelato of choice.

While honey toasts are evergreen, it was the Nutella one that tugged our heartstrings. But of course, right? Nutella is always wonderful, especially when lavishly drizzled over a thick toast alongside smooth, premium gelato. We had ours with a scoop of Earl Grey Lavender ice cream and the fragrance sure balanced out the sweetness of the dessert.

#5 LOFT CAFE

Moving on from all the chocolatey renditions, we have Loft Cafe’s Natsu Beri Shibuya Toast (S$11.40) that was an absolute delight for us, and certainly makes a great option for berry lovers.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>

The added acidity of the fruits was a marvelous complement to the toast, and do not be fooled by this photo because it was actually a gigantic serving! But no worries, because desserts are meant to be shared with lovers.

TAN (S$14.90) is the name of this good-looking plate of toast at Stateland Cafe. A crowd’s favourite, TAN is essentially a charcoal toast with marshmallow filling, salted caramel and coconut ice cream.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 336px; height: 280px;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1199323522078805" data-ad-slot="9464314347"></ins>//

They also have a Matcha Honey Toast (S$14.90), which in our opinion is also as beautiful-looking and delicious as its aforementioned counterpart. Stateland is the place to visit for quirky renditions of the Shibuya Toast.

#7 WA CAFE

Wa Cafe presents a brilliant Honey Toast with Matcha and Orgura Paste (S$16.50) that is probably the closest you can get to a true blue Japanaese Shibuya Toast in Singapore.

Topped off with a mountain of ingredients, expect to see ice cream, azuki (red bean) and a huge dollop of whipped cream. The overall combination of the different elements weaved into each other really well, and is one version of Shibuya Toast that is most definitely worth every cent (and calorie)!

A good matcha latte is a definite staple drink for all matcha lovers. Matcha has been made popular in Singapore ever since the food community in Singapore adopted a love for Japanese cuisine, and more and more restaurants, eateries and dessert cafes have implemented the use of this healthy ingredient into the food they serve.

Matcha has been incorporated into almost every food type imaginable. Matcha noodles, matcha ice cream, matcha cheese cake and even matcha waffles. But despite the many options out there, sometimes all we need is a good ‘ol matcha latte.

Where do you get the best matcha lattes in Singapore? Read on to find out the Top 7 Matcha Lattes in Singapore.

#1 HOSHINO COFFEE

This popular French-Japanese cafe from Japan is in Singapore with three swanky outlets, and we cannot love their matcha latte enough. True to its Japanese roots, Hoshino Coffee serves one of the best Matcha Latte (S$9) in town. It may sound expensive, but we would gladly pay for the premium quality and to catch up with our friends in the relaxing environment.

#2 MACCHA HOUSE

Maccha House is a specialised matcha cafe/restaurant, serving their signature matcha drinks and desserts, alongside hot and savoury mains such as ramen noodles. The Hot Matcha Latte (S$3.80) is a true delight indeed. There are different variations such as Iced Matcha Latte with Azuki and Shiratama (S$6.40), and Matcha Chocolate Latte (S$5.40).

This beautiful cup contains none of the fake powdery ones used in cheap bottled drinks. Definitely one of our favourites.

#3 NANA’S GREEN TEA

Voted the best Japanese cafe once, Nana’s Green Tea does not disappoint. Their Matcha Latte is, without a doubt, a must-try. Although Nana’s also offers savoury mains, we say skip it and dive right for their matcha items – ice cream, desserts and drinks.

As huge fans of matcha lattes, we were happy to find out that The Assembly Ground serves a really good cuppa. The Matcha Latte (S$5.50) is nice and smooth and we were surprised to know that they serve one so good that we would definitely make a return trip for.
Tsujiri is an institution known for its Japanese tea and matcha desserts in Kyoto. As you can only take away drinks here, we highly recommend just going for the classic Matcha Latte (S$5.60). The matcha flavours are crazy intense but so good at the same time. Die-hard matcha fans will definitely fall in love with it right away.
