The food at Procacci Italian restaurant is generally good, and while prices are fairly high, it is a lovely place for a romantic date.

I have a unique relationship with food. Before I started my food blog, I wasn’t really interested in food. You could say that I belonged in the “eat-to-live” camp. But in the past four years, I’ve gained and experienced so much because of my love for food. Sometimes, it makes me wonder if I could ever be a chef one day. East Ocean Teochew Restaurant at Shaw Centre has always been known as one of the top restaurants in Singapore serving Hong Kong style Teochew cuisine. It is the place that most people mention when you ask them what their favourite Teochew restaurant is.

Besides serving traditional Teochew favourites, they are also very popular for their dim sum. For several months, friends have been telling me that I simply have to go there during weekend for dim sum.

Fiesta Restaurant Festive Hotel RWS Singapore

With the opening of the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), we have seen the addition of a dozen new restaurants to the Singapore food scene. While it is good that we have more options now, deciding on a place for dinner can also be quite a headache.

We were choosing between Starz Restaurant (Hard Rock Hotel) and Fiesta Restaurant (Festive Hotel), and we went for the latter because I’ve heard about their BBQ buffet.

Unfortunately, we were there on a Wednesday and the BBQ buffet dinner is only available from Fridays to Sundays. On weekdays, Fiesta has a semi-buffet dinner where the appetiser and dessert buffet is included in the price of a main course.
