While I still have a few more posts from my other trips (Lyon, Paris, and Hong Kong), I thought I’d blog about my recent visit to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) – commonly known as Saigon – the largest city in Vietnam and the former capital of the Republic of Vietnam.
This post is a simple guide to Saigon based on my trip there. Since I only had a few days to try some places, this is by no means a complete eating guide to restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). I’d love to go back again and eat at more places, but we’ll have to see how that goes.
So for now, here’s my TravelGuide on where to eat in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that blogging could give me so many fantastic opportunities. I mean, look at me. My job is literally just to eat and make you hungry.
I guess I am really lucky because I never wanted to be “famous.” I met many wonderful people who helped me along the way, and everything just fell in place. If you have always wanted to be the next online sensation, here’s your chance.
Cineleisure’s Next Online Sensation is a social media competition organised by Cathay Cineleisure Orchard from 1 March – 21 April 2012. Together with QiuQiu and Zoe, I am one of the three judges and we will be judging on three different challenges – Lifestyle, Fashion, and of course, Food & Beverage.
So for those of you, who are taking part in the contest and want to know how I will be judging the second challenge on F&B, read on and find out!
The kind people from Toshiba and Intel have given me the Toshiba Portégé Z830 Ultrabook, and I love it so far.
At just 8.3mm and 1.12kg, it’s the world’s lightest 13″ Ultrabook, and I am grateful for the size because it is so much easier to bring around when I am travelling. I can’t live without my laptop and it is great that the Toshiba Ultrabook is light and portable, with many different ports to ensure full connectivity.
A few weeks ago, I went to Kuala Lumpur with Beatrice and Velda on a fun filming trip for the Ultrabook Challenge, where we tested out the Toshiba Portégé Z830 Ultrabook. The filming was done in a huge mansion, and we had a team of film crew, producers and make up stylist on the set – it was quite an experience, and I will be blogging more on that next week.
The production house is still editing the footage, so stay tune if you want to find out what we did in Kuala Lumpur. Meanwhile, you can join the conversation on the Toshiba Portégé Z830 Ultrabook, Inspired by Intel at Toshiba Facebook Page.
While having lunch at Ben’s Restaurant (a lovely place which is similar to PS Cafe), we were goofing around and randomly took some clips.
Beatrice just edited a short trailer of our weekend getaway, so I thought it would be fun to share it with you. Have a great week ahead you guys!
Full Disclosure & Fine Print: The Toshiba Portégé Z830 Ultrabook was given to me as a review set, and monetary compensation was received for my participation in the KL filming. All views and opinions are my own.

Ever since I first tried the Char Siew Sou at Yanting Restaurant four years ago, I’ve been on a hunt for the best in Singapore. Sadly, most places serve mediocre Baked BBQ Pork Puffs that aren’t worth the calories.
After trying so many dim sum restaurants in Singapore, I managed to find the really good ones. So here’s my list of the Best Char Siew Sou in Singapore.
I’m not good at making an announcement, especially so when I’m doing it on the internet; it feels as though I’m talking to myself. So I’ll just go straight to the point.
