Kyushu Pancake, a popular pancake cafe from Japan, is coming to Singapore and its first outlet will open on 11 May 2016.
These healthy pancakes sure are different from the usual sweet desserts we are used to, and with their arrival, it is bound to change the “pancake scene” in Singapore!
Established in 2012, Kyushu Pancake is well loved for many reasons. Its famed pancakes are made with seven different grains that are grown in Kyushu – the gem of Japanese agricultural regions. The result is a premium pancake mix that gives the perfect texture and unique taste.
Following its success in Tokyo is other successful outlets in Kyushu and Taipei. And we are looking forward to its flagship in Singapore – a 42-seater outlet in Novena.
Some of the dishes that you can expect at Kyushu Pancake Singapore include Kyushu Butter Milk Classic Pancake, Salted Caramel French Toast, Matcha Azuki Waffle, Egg Benedict Pancake and Matcha Montblanc. It will also be serving signature drinks such as Matcha Latte, Fresh Fruit Tea and Special Milk Tea.

I couldn’t find this “success”ful kyushu pancake in Tokyo at all. The few cafes in Tokyo apparently all closed early last year fyi. How many cafes closed in Singapore for every new one to open? Maybe such a report would be more interesting.
I had craving for pancake this morning and upon seeing this post, I went to try this cafe. It’s a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT…. had the buttermilk pancake. the pancakes got a texture like bread!!!! Seriously…. macdonald got better texture than this! It’s way too chewy, not fluffy at all! It tastes likes a soft oatmeal bread. The sauce is worse.. it’s almost tasteless! Had chocolate banana French toast. The toast got same texture and taste as the pancake! Like a mega thick Rye oatmeal bread with cheapo chocolate and grilled unripe banana. The only good thing about it is that the banana is caramelised. That’s it… these 2 plates cost $31… I feel cheated by this post.. Cos this is not even worth recommending…
