90′s-Themed Art Market This Good Friday at Tanjong Pagar Railway Station

Tanjong Pagar Railway

If you do not have any plans for this Good Friday (25 March 2016), mark this down – there is a 90′s-Themed Art Market at the Tanjong Pagar Railway Station.

The Local People has teamed up with Singapore Land Authority to launch an art market that will have you reminiscing all your fondest memories from the 1990′s.

Expect more than 100 art, retail and food & beverage booths that will be set up by home-grown artists. It will be a whole afternoon of fun browsing the market. There will also be live performances by local bands and the projection of art installations in the station.

Food From The Heart – a volunteer-based organisation which collects unsold bread and non-perishable food for distribution to welfare homes as well as needy individuals and families – will also have a booth to recruit volunteers at the art market.

What a better way to enjoy the long weekend, than to start it off on a high note? Good Friday will be good with this 90′s-Themed Art Market at Tanjong Pagar Railway Station.

Since access to the railway station is normally only granted on public holidays, this serves as a great opportunity for anyone who has yet to check out the station to appreciate the heritage behind the place.

Huge projectors for movie screening will also happen at the Hall and Platform area that all can enjoy. All vendor booths will be sheltered under the platforms with fluorescent lighting, just in case the weather does not cooperate.

Bring your partner, family and friends down for some fun over various activities and bring home some amazing goods from the 90′s-Themed Art Market!
