Calling all professional chefs and talented cooks in Asia-Pacific!

A brand new culinary personality search programme by MediaCorp, Eat List Star, is looking for you. Want to win a chance to develop your culinary careers, build a fan base, and land long-term media and business development contracts with MediaCorp?

If you think that you have all the qualities stated and have exactly what it takes to be the next big culinary personality, submit your entries for Eat List Star before 11 December 2015.

Supported by recognised chefs and restaurateurs, together with television personalities and celebrities, Eat List Star aims to identify and groom a new generation of food personalities who can cook, host and charm a crowd. Does it sound like you already?

The competition will focus mainly on local and regional flavours, with challenges based on Asian cuisine.

The programme will run primarily through digital platforms such as an Eat List Star microsite and social media. Of course, a strong social media following and presence gives you an edge as online public scoring is one of the judging components; embrace the foodie community and all your friends in the social media space!

This next generation of talented culinary stars are to lead Asia-Pacific’s food community forward, to charm and captivate the hearts of audiences through food, and of course, to engage with all of you.

Eat List Star Contest

The all-star judging panel includes award-winning Chef-Owner Ryan Clift of Tippling Club, renowned restaurateur-hotelier Loh Lik Peng, international journalist and media personality Cheryl Tiu, MediaCorp Class 95 deejay Simone Heng and actor-host Uttsada Panichkul (Utt). These chefs and personalities will also guide contestants and share their expertise and experiences with them throughout the course of the programme. Think getting up close, and very personal!

So you think you are a young and aspiring chef with dreams of becoming a media personality? Well, Eat List Star wants you! All you have to do is fill up an entry form on www.eatlist.sg, upload five of your best food posts and a 15-second introductory video on Instagram, and hashtag #eatliststar.
